January 1936 - London, England.

"Mr.Prime Minister, sir. What troubles you today?" asked an aide.

"The Olympics...they are in Berlin this year. Bloody Berlin!" replied Chamberlin. "Hitler shall try and show the world that his nation - the Ayran Nation is supreme, that others are only sub-human."

"We all know what Hitler shall try and do sir. It is just a matter of how we react to what he tries."

"Your brilliant! Your brilliant!" shouted Chamberlin as he stormed off into his study.

March 1936 - Prague, Czechslovkia.

"Sir, the minister shall see you now" said a lovely woman's voice.

"Thank you" replied the British ambassador as he walked into the minister's office.

"Mr. Ambassador, what may I do for you today?" asked the Czechslovkian minister.

"Mr. Chamberlin wishes to propose that the great nation of Czechslovkia joins with Allied Alliance along with France and the United Kingdom. In doing so, we shall offer your nation military assistance incase of attack."

"The offer sounds tempting my friend, however we believe Germany poses no real threat to us at the current time. Mr. Chamberlin's proposal is of no use to us."

"Very well. You shall face the Germans alone!" barked back the ambassador before polietly walking away.

April 1936 - Warsaw, Poland

"Hello and good evening, I am Charles Morris reporting live from Warsaw, Poland tonight for the Britsih Broadcasing Corporation (BBC). Today the nations of France and the Commonwealth (United Kingdom) have agreed to protect Poland aganist attack by Nazi Germany."

April 1936 - Berlin, Germany

"Bloody British!" shouted an aide to the Führer. "The Führer shall not be pleased."

December 1936 - Prague, Czechslovkia

"Hello and good evening once again, I am Charles Morris. In a grand ceremony the Nazi's marched through the Sudentland as Czechslovkia goverment handed over the land to buy-off Nazi Germany. In a counter off, the United Kingdom offered the now smaller Czechslovkia military protection aganist the Germans. The goverment - after being humiliated - accepted the British proposal."

January 1937 - Berlin, Germany

"Heil Hitler!" shouted the German soldiers as a great parade marched through the streets of Berlin.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First AAR I'm writing, the game itself is pretty interesting - that I'm in.
So far, Czechslovkia and Poland have accepted to join the Allied Alliance.
The British Home Fleet has grown and prepares to blockade the Germans from the North Sea and the English channel.

1937

Febuary 1937 - Berlin, Germany

The long lived celebration of Hitler's bloodless triumphant was over. The world was learning the consequences of Czechslovkian sacrifice. The 3rd Reich has gained 11,000 square miles of territory in which dwelt 2,800,000 Sudeten Germans and 800,000 Czechs. The whole of Czechslovkia's fortifications has fallen into the hands of the Germans. Yet that was not all.

The nations enitre symbom of rail, road, telephone and telegraph communications were disrupted. The country lost 66% of it's coal, 80% of it's lignite, 86% of it's chemicals, 80% of it's cement, 80% of it's textiles, 70% of it's iron and steel, 70% of it's electric power, and 40% of it's timber. The prsperous industrial nation of Czechslovkia was split up and bakrupted overnight.

March 1937 - London, England

"Do you people not see that he has decieved us once again!? He has tricked not only ourselves, but also our allies! He has humilated us infront of the world!" shouted an angered Winston Churchill.

"Mr.Churchill. May I remind you that you are not part of the goverment. Your calls of rage go unnoitced by us."

"And yet you let Hitler go unchecked! One day he shall conquer all of Europe! He shall be at the shores of our homeland before you even move an inch!" barked Churchill.

"Arrest him!" shouted a noble lord.

Guards rushed to the scence of Churchill and escorted him out of the building with handcuffs around his wrists.

May 1937 - Budapest, Hungary

"Mr.Ambassador, your countries promises are quite...let's put in easy to understand terms...they are unreliable. Hungary has no wishes to join an alliance that cannot give Hungary any possible protection aganist the Third Reich. I'm sorry."

The ambassador kept his cool, he shook the foreign minister's hand and left the room.

July 1937 - Omaha, Nebraska (and other parts of the USA)

Fireworks lite the sky as the isolationist nation fired off fireworks to celebrate another national birthday.

November 1937 - Belgrade, Yugoslavia

The snow fell on that cold November day. The proposal of an alliance for Yugoslavia was even colder. The Axis had recently offered her to join their alliance, with deep regret she had refused. The British were now offering her another alliance, an alliance that would draw the rest of the Balkans into the Allies.

An alliance that Britain thought would be so powerful. Powerful enough with the aide of the West to persuade Hitler and his Third Reich to move no further.

Yet the clouds drew darker, as the foreign minister and Prime Minister Chamberlin talked.

1938

January 1938 - Vienna, Austria

And so Austria, as Austria, passed for a moment out of history, its very name suppressed by the revengeful Austrian who had now joined it to the Third Reich. The ancient German word for Austria, Osterreich, was abolished. Austria became the Ostmark and soon even that name was dropped by Berlin.

Vienna had become just another city of the Third Reich, a provincial district administrative center, withering away. The former Austrian tramp became dictator had wiped his native land off the map and deprived its once glittering capital of its last shred of glory and importance. Disillusionment among the Austrians became inevitable.

For the first few weeks the behavior of the Vienna Nazis was worse than anything that had happened in Germany. There was an orgy of sadism.

Febuary 1938 - Berlin, Germany

The reluctant German generals, Hitler could assume after the success of Anschluss, would no longer stand in his way. If he had any doubts at all on this, they were removed by the denouement of the Fristch affair.

March 1938 - Budapest, Hungary

Allied officals angered by the refusal of their proposal's for Hungary to join the Allied Alliance, declared war on the small nation.

Several divisions of from Yugoslavia and the weakened Czechslovkia invaded Hungary. British bombers had flown from England to aid in the conquest of Hungary. Within a month of tense fighting the Hungarian army gave way and surrendered to the Allies. Without approval from London, the nation of Yugoslavia annexed the land.

Rest of 1938 later.
I'll be gone from July 28th to August 4th.

1938 Continued

April 1938 - London, England.

"Members of the House of the Nobles and House of the Commons, we have created an alliance that can withstand the might of Germany! Today that alliance grows! With the addition of Romania, not only does our strength grow. The Third Reich can no longer count on Romanian oil supplies. We have dealt a great blow to the Axis Alliance!" said Prime Minister Chamberlin in an excited voice.

"Hear hear!" replied a few members of both houses.

"Mr.Chamberlin, yet there is still trouble admist Europe. The Spanish Civil War grows more intense. We stand idle as the Franco's Facists take over the country."

"Mr.Smily, the 'War' shall be over with quickly. Already in agreement with France, we shall be sending 12 of our best divisons led by our best general - Montgomery. The French shall be sending an additional 6 divsions under their famed leader DeGaulle. We shall crack down on the rebels."

June 1938 - Madrid, Spain

"Hello and good morning gentlemen. I am George Malle reporting for live from Madrid. In intense fighting today our very own Charles Morris died today when an artillery shell landed upon our office. Though the office did not collapse, we have several staff members who are either dead or wounded. Excuse me a minute" as he tried to hold back his tears.

"In other news, the siege of Madrid by Franco's Facist Forces has been lifted, as they are now on the run from the 18 divisions sent by the Allied alliance."

September 1938 - Alexandria, Eygpt.

The divisons from Spain began to unload onto the docks. The heat was treachours, the soldiers swore they were being burnt alive. The troops were marched to their barracks some miles away from the docks. The transports quickly left as bombers flew over head towards the Deserts of Arabia.

Hungary

* Aye Hungary...they kept refusing to join the Allied Alliance, thou they were influenced all the way towards my viewpoint.

I finally grew tired of them and well, just declared war on them.

Surprised the Germans didn't acutally try and act aganist us then =)

1938 continued...

October 1938 - Berlin, Germany

"Heil Hitler!" said Goering as he entered the Führer's presence.

"Are we ready Herr Goering?" asked Hitler in a sinicle tone.

"Yes my Führer" replied the Air Minister.

"Than we shall proceed! Der Sieg Wird Unser Sein!"
[Translation: The victory will be ours!]

October 25th, 1938 - New Czechslovkian Border.

"Los! Los! Los! Für den Vaterland!" shouted a Panzer Commander.
[Translation: Go! Go! Go! For the Fatherland!]

German Panzer IIs and IIIs crossed the open plains of Czechslovka, with infantry rushing by the sides of the tanks. Some Czechslovkian resistance appeared but quickly fled as the Junker Ju 87 "Stukas" appeared overhead.

October 26th, 1938 - London, England

"They have invaded the remaints of Czechslovkia!" shouted a lord. "Mr.Chamberlain, did you not say peace was at hand!? That Hitler would want no more land?"

"He has betrayed us. He has lied to the world!" shouted Chamberlain in defense. "We shall act swiftly, and we shall act with great bravery. We shall conquer a foe, a foe that has lied to us. A foe that has done things beyond our imaginations."
