All,
An update.
The scenario will be PE's 1520, modified. When I track down my old file on Tonio's stat site, I will go over it, then add it to the first post alongside a change list. We will begin next Wednesday at 1900 CET and play a regular four hours, with the option of continuing longer where feasible.
At the moment, we are:
Definite
HG
John
Pepsi
Delian
Diablosrogue
Krisz
Likely
Tonio
Considering
Damocles
Aladar
TC Pilot
Mulliman
The roster will remain open until Friday, at which time I will roll for countries. Folks may join anytime between Friday and the first session, but they'll have to take the leavings.
After I have rolled, I urge everyone to check the scenario and make suggestions and requests. I am always open to argument. However, I can only guarantee even reasonable changes if they are brought to my attention by Monday evening. At a minimum, we will be using my modified leader table and other revisions, which include the following general changes (the specifics will be posted when I have finally found them):
-Ottoman leaders boosted (specifically Suleyman, the Koprolus, Sokullu)
-Austrian leaders boosted (specifically Wallenstein and Eugune)
-Frederick the Great extended to 1786
-Turenne's start date modified (this is a bug-a patch fixed it, but this save was generated using an earlier game version)
-Blucher split into two leaders, leaving a large gap in his service, and stats reduced (this may not survive, as having a potent leader is the best way to represent the potency of Prussia's army, but is historical)
-English leaders reduced (specifically Marlborough and Wellington for historical reasons; Nelson and Cochrane for reasons of game balance)
-A general reduction in the stats of super admirals
-A reduction to Venice (it will lose the enhancements I talked Peter into giving it before Paradox made it in an island with a blockadable strait-mainly, its fort, part of its fleet, some of its factories and its manpower; this is especially the case if it is not played)
-A reduction of manpower and tax base in Denmark (debatable, only if unplayed-Peter did this to make it more attractive to humans)
-A reduction of manpower in England (Peter added MP to encourage England to fight on the continent, but this is made unnecessary by the locked land slider)
-Spanish bankruptcies slept (will use gold rule)
-ToT slept (if this isn't done in the scenario already-can't remember)
-Slavonic to both Austria and the OE (possibly Magyar to the OE as well-we shall see)
-Possible tech changes, especially to trade/infra, and DP changes (not sure-again, I need to find my old file to figure out whether this needed to be done in PE 1520 after the patches or not)
