“Buying a game without being allowed to try it is like buying a car without test-driving it or a house without seeing it yourself and getting an inspection. Of course, if a game is on sale for a few dollars, it may not be as important, since that amount of money may be trivial. But if you are debating spending 40€ or more on a title you are not 100% sure about, then I know that I´d definitely like a demo, before I spend my money.”

It's certainly true that the Matrix/Slitherine no demo policy has stopped me buying any games from there, that and the fact that they're not at a price point where it's worth taking a punt. It's an awful business model
