Even my savegame from '42 runs smoothly, and I do not complain that my panzers take a lot more damage now
Well, try attacking difficult terrain over a river and tell me how the odds are for your tanks. I fear I could have overdone it a little... :eek:o

One question is the 1.5 a full update ? or do I need the other updates as well ?
It's a full version, no previous downloads needed. Was astounded by the size myself, but looks like getting rid of all the scenarios shrinked the mod by 90%!
:D

Sw00t first post! :D

GAGA I would like to make a suggestion to you for future versions of your most excellent mod. (I have other ideas but I will run this by you as it would be rather easy to implement, assuming you like it of course.) I would like to see the implementation of a new interwar tech/unit for the Aircraft tree, the Scout or reconnaissance bomber. (think of Potez 25, Hawker Hind, etc.) Essentially this unit would be a precursor (and prerequisite) to the main CAS tree. The advantages of this unit would be; a. a more realistic representation of the type of aircraft used by air forces in the 30's and early war era. b. would allow speedbump nations to have a genuine and again realistic air force capability other than just early fighters and TAC which few weak nations had, if at all. (Case in point Afghanistan, which had a force of some 20 Hawker Hinds as the main combat element of their airforce until the late 40's. And yet, never recieved any real fighters or bombers until the early 50's.)

So what do you think fellow posters, is there potential here or am I just some Groganard crackpot? :p

I have already found a little fauxpas: Air recce has some duplicated mission efficiency entries. Nothing serious, but just to let you know I am already aware of the issue. :)

Next patch will be bugfixes and balance issues, so I will wait for YOUR reports!

Currently planned:
- Increase artillery bombardment damage to ressources.
- Lower airport strike efficiency.
- Fix duplicated entries for some techs.

... And I'm off to play...!
Have fun! :D

Great mod, my onlt complaint is that now it is more or less incompatible with SKIF. :(

Many thanks - and you've added extended Militia :D

So far just had time to look at the screens - noted the partial motorisation techs said something about a yet to be defined event - so wasn't sure if this was a work in progress ?? [sorry - not got game in front of me to be more precise]

I already noticed that one, but this is related to script parts compiled in the .EXE and thus out of my range as a generic modder.

See also the point under "known issues":
Softness reduction from motorisation is not shown correctly ("A No-yet described event command")

Hi Gaga
Like the mod especially the new techs, but in my current game as germany, when the anschluss event fired I ended up allied with austria instead of aborbing its provinces, what happened?

Nothing to do with the mod I suspect - you just got the tiny percentage chance of the AI choosing the ahistorical option. In my game Japan has just declared war on the Soviets in May 39 - and the Republicans won SCW - so should be interesting!!

See above: Ahistoric AI event choise.
;)

GAGA - not sure if this would be due to your mod - but playing Germany I inherited a 1918 Inf build from Austria at the Anschluss. The serial didn't give me the option to upgrade to 36 which I had researched.

if you have like 2-3 techs higher researched you cant upgrade it anymore, so keep it or disband and start new serial.

There is another model - Interwar INF '32 - inbetween this.
I don't know how upgrades in the quenue work, buit it could be the reason stated by Jarno above. All I know is I didn't change anything related to this mechanic. ;)

Great news!

Thanks for the update. It looks like the tech/research rebalancing will speed things up (I could be wrong :) ) - is this due to all the extra techs / units you've added??
