The crash folder report named "2025-01-16_184836" next to game executable.
It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!

"d3d11.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module d3d11.dll at 0033:15880feb."

I have three files in that folder to share but don't want to post them on the open web without really knowing what's inside.

Any help is appreciated.. thanks!

Why not have a look to see what's inside? I guarantee you it won't contain your address or bank details.

Make sure to reboot your computer and not not open any apps accept the game.

Verify game files from Steam Library, find CS1 is sidebar, right+click CS1 and select properties, select verify game files.

Then try launching the game.

If error continues, exit game and update Microsoft DirectX:

It throws a Direct X 11 error

Finally run Windows update and make sure windows is up to date.

Then launch again.

Let us know how it goes, so others may gain hints from here.

Given that the crash is entirely in DirectX 11, it is not a memory issue; the error.log shows plenty of free memory. Check with AMD that you have the very latest driver for that video card.

If that doesn't help, In your Steam Library right-click on this game and choose Properties. In the Launch Options line, paste this in there:
