  • King Arthur II
Hello All,

I have recently purchased the King Arthur II The role playing wargame. The truth is that I was really excited to play it, unfurtunetly i did not get the chance yet...

So here is what happens, I enter the game, the intro videos work just fine and then I access to the main menu where I see the dragon and the menu. My mouse pointer works perfectly fine, the main probelm resides that when I click to ANYTHING the game just does not respond... The dragon moves extreamly slow just as my pc was having the greatest lag of it's life time.

The game was purchased and downloaded from Steam, I have already doenloaded and isntalled the game three times and it just happens the same. I am running the game in a laptop with windows 7, I7, 8GB of RAM and a graphic card Nvidia Geforce GTX 460M of 1.5GB of dedicated memory. I believe that power is not the issue here.

Please be so kind to provide me with any suggestions in order to solve the issue. If it does not get resolved could you as well be so kind to tell me how can I get my money back? I can return the game, the cd-key anything...

Kind regards to all and thank you for your help!

Have you tried searching for the game install folder (By default it is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\kingarthurii\) and running the proper Coretech2 exe file from there? Does it bring any improvements?

Could you attach your DXdiag here (please use the code tag, don't copy it simply here as it is extremely long)?

How to use the code tag:
Code:
copy the dxdiag text here[//code] - I had to add an extra / to show what you should type in, if you remove one of the 2 "/", you will get this:

[code]copy the dxdiag text here

If you need help creating your dxdiag report, check this: http://devblog.neocoregames.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/How-to-create-a-Dxdiag-report.doc

Thank you very much. What you actually mentioned worked perfectly since i opened the game from the folder you mentioned and used the x64 and it worked perfectly.

Thanks for the quick support!

Um maybe its just me but this game doesn't start up for me what so ever. I tried steam support I tried emailing neocore I haven't got a response in a week. This is the worst experience I've ever had I will never buy a neocore affiliated game again.

Could you give us a detailed description of the problem? Where is this point in the game exactly? Can you access the menu window, or you can't launch the game at all? Do you receive an error message?
Do you try to play the English version or a different language?
