I have a PC Desktop with Ubuntu 19.10 and a GTX 1050. I open the game through steam, the configuration window appears, I give it to play, but it doesn't open. How I can solve it?

I had the same issue after upgrading.

sudo apt-get install libc++abi1

does the magic :)

(it complains about this library, if you peruse the starting logs or try to launch the executable by yourself )

EDIT: there is a similar thread here but there is no need the install the "-dev" package, you only need the runtime library, not the headers and/or other development stuff

Right click on this game in Steam, Manage, Browse Local Files. That shows you the folder the game is installed in, which includes the path you mention above.

However, reading the recommendation above it was to run the launcher manually rather than the game, as I read it. The launcher folders are:

~/.paradoxlauncher
~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2
~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/launcherpath

First of all, thank you very much for so many answers.
Also I can not find it, since steam does not open me to the files of the game. REPITO, I AM NOT NEW IN LINUX, I put in the search engine all the names that you can think of and I can't find the files of the game. Neither of that, nor of the crusader, nor of the baldurs, etc.

Do these games run? If so they are clearly installed. Does Steam run? If so it is clearly installed.

How and why you cannot find them I cannot guess. Maybe this is some weirdness in your particular distro, I don't know. Right clicking on this game in Steam, Manage, Browse Local Files shows the folder the game is installed in for every other Steam user on the planet!

The other games work perfectly for me, the imperator opens the launcher and closes when you press play. When I'm going to open files (it doesn't open any, neither from the imperator, nor from other games). I use linux mint (it's ubuntu).

Ok, let's find where Imperator is installed:
# find ~ -name imperator
(for me is : /home/lorenzo/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/ImperatorRome/binaries/imperator )

what you have ?

Hello, as I said before, I can't find the files, search them with the search engine, search them manually, re-install and search for modified files, but I can't find the installation folder of any steam game. The difference is that the only one who does not walk is the imperator. Therefore it is the only one I need to find hahahahaha. Thanks for the patience and for the help. And sorry for the writing, to write in English I use the translator.

./.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/ImperatorRome/binaries/imperator
Try this:

(launch steam using the usual way)

# cd ./.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/ImperatorRome/binaries
# export SteamAppId=859580
# ../launcher/Paradox\ Launcher
