Hello, as I said before, I can't find the files, search them with the search engine, search them manually, re-install and search for modified files, but I can't find the installation folder of any steam game. The difference is that the only one who does not walk is the imperator. Therefore it is the only one I need to find hahahahaha. Thanks for the patience and for the help. And sorry for the writing, to write in English I use the translator.

ehm.. if the files are not somewhere, the game is not properly installed...
Try the Steam "Properties" , especially "Browse local files" and "Verify integrity" .

Try this:

(launch steam using the usual way)

# cd ./.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/ImperatorRome/binaries
# export SteamAppId=859580
# ../launcher/Paradox\ Launcher

apparently it is stored where they say, but I can not access either by console, or by nautilus, nor normally. (I have hidden files activated)z

Permission problems?
I mean, try "cd .local/share" than "cd Steam" etc.. . If you get an error, try sudo

Hello, hello .. Try with nautilus and console with his and her. It's very strange, all games are hosted where they should be but I don't see the folders (they aren't hidden). I leave you to see.

With update to 1.3 game needs glibc 2.27+. Which is included in most distributions released at least in 2018. Eg. Linux Mint 19, Ubuntu 18.04, etc.

I figured this out this morning.

OpenSuse Leap 15.1 has glibc 2.26 =(

im a long time OpenSuse Leap 15.1 user. I’m not sure what to do about this...

nah sorry, dsnt work. Yes the luncher is running but when i click on play, nothing, the game crash instantly
Does it crash saying something in the terminal windows? (Or in the logs)

Ok, but you say that other games are installed and run.. where are they? I still think about some permission mess

OK, I'm officially done with this shit. Paradox has known about this bug for months, and I still cannot start the game on my OS.

I've tried a lot of things:
  • install libc++
  • run steam-runtime
  • run steam-native
  • run the game as is
  • run the game via the 'Steam Linux Runtime'
Nothing works.
I've been a loyal Paradox customer for YEARS (as you can see from my badges). But unless you guys can get back to your track record of supporting Linux as a equal rights citizen, that's it. I:R will have been my last Paradox purchase. So either finally fix this shit so people can finally actually USE the product they paid you guys money for, or at least have the decency to give us a refund.

Because this ist just fraud. You advertised Linux compatability, I paid you money based on that promise, and now the product I paid for does not work. So either start behaving like decent people or eat shit.

In the same place. apparently everything is in home / user / .local / share / Steam but I can not see or access the console or the folders. I think I made it clear in the previous messages.

relax, it is difficult since there are many versions of linux. It works for many so it's time to face it. What we could ask for is more attention. I have been posting for days and the answers are not very wise. But here we are, waiting to play.

It works on Linux, but compared to Stellaris, HOI4 it has the worst compatibility. And not only Linux users, What distribution do you have? Maybe I can help
