I got it for free on epic games and the launcher opens flawlessly. But whenever I try the play button, it just has that blue circle for a second and doesn't open. There is no error message. I've tried deleting the paradox interactive file and reopen it, I've tried to delete the game entirely and re-download it, and I've tried starting the game straight from the eu4.exe and all of it didn't work. Help, please?

In any case, it would be helpful to know what happens when you try to start eu4.exe directly. Does it open a window or does it show any error message?
And did eu4 or the launcher create a folder "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV EGS" and does it have a subfolder logs? If there are logs, can you post them?
