The game will not install. It just sounds like the computer is a helicopter.

When I put the CD in the auto run window pops up like it should. I then click on install and it sounds like a propeller is going, but nothing is happening. It says that it is "not responding". This game ran perfectly on my old computer that was Win98, but not on this one which is WinXP and obviously more advanced and meets the requirements.

What publisher version of the game do you have, thier logo will be on the CD?

Try copying the CD to the HD and install from there, if it is the Scandinavian version you may need to replace setup file, see the self help sticky thread for details on that and more general install help.
THe thread lists it under patch install but it also applies to the original install.
