Always uncertain. I love it. I call this state of play shadow-walking; it's a mark - no, THE mark - of a excellent baddie player. Players like the SPLIT and my brother are simply too good as villagers to be truly superior wolves. Their analysis suffers noticeably when they can't catch wolves, and they get caught because they aren't catching goodies. You can never really tell with wolf/baddie specialists what exactly they are, because they are just suspicious enough to be untrustworthy, while just sensible enough to be bad lynches.

Aedan is a notoriously superior wolf because he straddles the line between rational and unhelpful well. It's a policy I also try to cultivate, hopefully with some success.

TLDR: To be a great baddie, you pretty much have to play and act in all your games with a measure of undetectability. And it's nigh impossible to play from both sides with equal effectiveness.
I feel like you walk around with this T-Shirt on with a Wombat on the shirt.

there's just something that feels weird about this whole "hey y'all, this is how to be a good werewolf" talk. not suspicious, necessarily, but weird.

Well, if any new players try to change their playstyle to suit my general rules, we'll know and hammer them. Also, I broadcast weirdness wherever I go.

Other game notes:

1) The hunt on Jackson pretty much clears anyone sane from being a member of the non Cinematic Universe pack. (Which means maybe 2 or 3 people, max.) Bad hunt on at least 3 obvious counts, none of which I am going to explain here because I don't want to give the wolves points which they can use in an actual game rather than glittering generalities.
2) More to the point, the packs are clearly not in contact with one another yet. So if there does have to be an outing, it should be done late to discourage the packs from linking up - and hopefully, give them more chances to be dumb and hunt one another.
3) Rules on cultists, from EURO's rules, are that they know one werewolf at the start - "Knows the identity of one Werewolf. Wins if either Werewolves overwhelm the villagers." I assume the cultist would talk to "his" wolf, the wolf would tell the wolves about his cultist, and presumably let the cultist know about his fellow packmates. Which means alynkio was almost certainly in contact with at least one pack and presumably one pack only.
4) Further, judging by the fact that jackson jumped on alynkio (cultist) over johho (unknown allegiance) at a time when both were in danger, the probability is that alynkio was NOT in contact with the CUs - meaning alynkio was in contact with the pack that hunted.
5) Unless jackson knew about both johho and alynkio and felt he was forced to pick one - he did break a 5-5 tie close to deadline, after jumping from panzer to eternaly lost to alynkio a few minutes before deadline. This scenario would require johho to be a CU wolf, though, a pack that has already been weakened.

Fading, Sleeeeeeep is calling. vote morninggg....

NIGHT 4

Jacksonian Missionary the hunter werewolf of Cinematic Universe pack is hunted.

Ok you little dates. Nasse-setä is feeling uncharacteristically sober. Maybe he forgot to put the bottle cap back in place and all the precious magic percentages evaporated there. Good that Nasse tested the magic drink before doing his magic tricks!

First things first; there's indeed another pack (3-pack game seems very unlikely) with that hunt. Very good day in any case. Seems all cultists are part of a pack even though the update didn't state that:

[*]Cultist [Cult Status TV Show] - Knows the identity of one Werewolf. Wins if either Werewolves overwhelm the villagers.

Judging by the vote history it seems much more likely Alynkio was Cinematic Universe pack (he did go out of his way to protect k-59 and we know nothing about the other pack) but it's possible that was coincidence and he was known to the other pack (assuming 2-pack game for rather obvious reasons).

Something interesting what Jacksonian said yesterday:

I'm slightly miffed no one wants to go with my case on Panzer, and I find the massive pileup on Johho to be very interesting. If he is a baddie I'm convinced at least 1 of his packmates jumped on for goodie points when the case for him isn't really all that strong in my eyes. I much prefer the case on Alyniko however, and I don't think I've seen one good reason to vote for Black Griffin yet.

E_L may not be a bad candidate in the future, he seems far too wishy washy in terms of his voting and seems quite happy to hop off a bandwagon at a moments notice.

He wants to lynch Panzer (and is sitting on him with a single throwaway vote at this stage) but then switches to alynkio the cultist after quick vote on E_L (who was non-entity in yesterday's race). Unless Johho is packmate I don't think he would deliberately put his own cultist ahead of unknown - which either suggests Johho is packmate deemed more valuable than affiliated cultist (but that would mean k-59, Johho and Jacksonian all voted together which is bit of a stretch, I think) or alynkio was aligned with the other pack.

So, which way do people feel about it?

Could somebody elaborate what's the fixation with Johho? Seems k-59/Jacksonian Missionary did indeed play together there but I'm rather sceptical Johho as packmate would have also been voting lockstep there.

One minute to the deadline Sleepyhead chimes in:

Unvote BlackCrown
Vote alyaniko

Prefer to have johho alive for the time being.

which puts alynkio into 2-vote lead. Fair enough, could be vote to prevent tie or somebody flipping the vote.

At the same moment Claude also piles in on alynkio (who was leading before either Sleepyhead or Claude voted).

VOTE alynkio

Both of them could justify jumping on already-doomed alynkio the cultist by trying to avoid another tie, but... I don't know. Both have been rather quiet so far, especially Claude.

Hmm. Is it just Uncle Nasse that has nose itching in almost crovaxian style at the following (the first part, that is):

An all around good day for us quality shows, Jackson being WW once more throws suspicion on Johho.

or does Nasse need to update his nose?

Let's play a little game, shall we?

Now, each of you are invited to give your gut reaction to each of the players - who is a baddie, who is a goodie, and who is an unknown? Reasoning welcomed, if possible.

Uncle Nasse loves games! Though that seems like a too much trouble at this point. Besides, that's not how this children's program works (no point voicing uncoherent thoughts since about half the player base here doesn't really register on my radar atm).

Audren & Cliges: something from recent games that I've missed? Or what's with the marital spat?

Disappointing that we have so many non-voters. Esemesas informed earlier he'd need sub so I guess that's understandable but now he's at least subbed. Punkbob should know better but Black_Griffin is particularly standing out in that regard with 2 missed votes and no sub in sight.

So. For now Uncle Nasse will take a stab in the dark as that's pretty much where we stand as far as the other pack stands. Incidentally it also hits on the zombies which ain't necessarily a bad thing, either.

vote Black_Griffin

Unless he gets subbed out immediately or killed by GM if he misses any more votes? @EUROO7 do you have subs or will autokillings start?

Fresh out of subs. Will make determination if Griffin has not voted at deadline, based upon available subs.

That does seem to be the theory.

As previously mentioned, I am highly suspicious of Johho, something about his moves rub me the wrong way. We saw a lot of teamwork between Joho, Jackson, K-59

An all around good day for us quality shows, Jackson being WW once more throws suspicion on Johho.

Vote wombat

Referring to himself as an excellent baddie player. Also tried to make me make a list.

I could've sworn I posted a submarine not that long ago. Oh well...

I'm pretty sure cliges, punkbob, and beamed all aren't CU wolves at least, since they've all voted for a confirmed one while they weren't really in the running for being lynched. Since I really can't tell much past that(yet):
Vote Johho

@Gen. Skobelev: I would want alynioki to be from the other pack because then we would have something to work with there. He was lynched on the suspicion of helping to save k-59 though.

Someone said Jacksonian was a poor hunt but he did cast an important vote late to get alikokio lynched and he was already somewhat cleared by accidentally helping to save k-59 so i akokilyo was in the hunting pack they might have thought him too much cleared and wanted him gone. That could suggest alkolyiko was from the other pack.

But really it's impossible to know.

Hmm... I'll take a shot at the Whack-a-Mole game that wombat gave us.

Health is
House MD - Not gonna give an opinion on myself due to the fact that it is little to no use.
Arkasas is 19 Kids and Counting: The Duggar Story - Haven't really seen much of him and his reasoning has been rather light. He pushed the johho wagon of the rails, but didn't participate in the lynching of alynkio. Currently leaning on either player with little time or possible wolf trying to fly low and slow.
BlackCrown is Twitch Livestream of Bob Ross's The Joy of Painting - Interesting to see such an active newtimer he is doing his bit, but I'm unsure of whether that is something that should be expected of him or is he over compensating in order to not look like a wolf. Leaning more toward goodie though
Claude is How I Met Your Mother - Continues to hold high the mantle of Claude the Late Comer. Claude as Claude usually is as such could be either baddie or goodie, it's just hard to say with this one.
Audren is I Love Lucy reruns - Aud is doing his bit and being reasonably active, the second most active player. He also participated in the lynching of the cultist. Leaning more towards goodie, because I'd expect baddie Aud to not be so active
Daleksbane is Dr. Who - Frankly surprised to see him. I might not be the best person to talk on this subject, but I haven't seen a lot of him. Though he has known where to stick his votes and thus it makes him a likely goodie by my mind.
Black_Griffin is Mad Men - Not sure what to say about Griff besides the inactivity and missing votes. I don't really want to invoke CAWZ, but it might happen nonetheless.
Sleepyhead is Better Off Ted - Sleepy is doing Sleepy and I don't really know what it is. From my perspective he seems to be a goodie and though his votecount is far from perfect, it is also not terrible.
Johho is Due South - Managed to escape certain death yesterday. I don't think we'd gain much from running him up again today, though if no better candidates pop up I'd be behind checking what lies behind the Johho door.
the_hdk is Firefly - Besides him physically being in game, he has yet to make an impression on me.
Eternaly Lost is Stargate SG1 - Same as hdk.
[Panzer Commader] Cliges is Buffy the Vampire Slayer - I'm still expecting that explanation, why no body should listen to Aud.
Steed is The Adventures of Black Beauty - Besides winning the Hunter trait, Steed has yet to actually make an impression on me. Could very well be either.
[esemesas] Jeray is The Great British Bake-Off - Interestingly missed the vote yesterday. Overall an interest that needs to do more to make a decision due to the sub.
punkbob is The Wire* - Has yet to make a strong impression.
DeathByWombat is Burn Notice - Active and doing much. Just what I'd expect from a Goodie Wombat.
Gen. Skobelev is a popular children's show "Nasse-setä" - Providing vote counts, doing decent analysis and being quite on top of things. Seems like a goodie to me or of another pack should there be more than one pack.
Beamed is The Americans - Don't really have a clue, has yet to make a lasting impression.

There is a contradiction in the two-pack theory. Each and every turn we have only received one hunted player, as such, it seems there is only one pack. Maybe Steed or the Helsing used their execution ability on Jackson? Previous records show that Helsing shows up as hunted.

Two packs don't usually hunt at the same night. Usually there is a pattern to the packs.

I would also like to mention the capability of Cursed roles. Since such a trait is in the game, it is possible that any "goodie" has changed sides.

Edit:accidentally posted before saying anything

There's only been one no hunt so far, which is explained by aedan being "formerly blessed", so it's unlikely anyone's been turned. It is possible though that someone used the hunted trait and it replaced a regular hunt, then a regular hunt hit a cursed.
