Is there a link to a record of the stream? I can't find it on Twitch and on youtube I found only a cutted version of day 1.

Sounds like Paradox needs to find a new hosting service, or self-host the next one. Those are both ridiculous reasons to be DMCA'ed.
I'd still be interested in viewing the recordings. as a maybe potentially future attendee. And sure, the 2019 ones might be decent enough for figuring out if it would be worth attending, but Lions of the North.

I can hardly remember the part I watched when the VODs were available. If they wait any longer I will have lost all interest.
Also would quite like to see this make a reappearance. Or get some info on whether or not it will ever see the light of day.

We do apologize for the waiting period! And the VODs coming down in general. While we won't really be going into exact details as to why they went down we are happy to say the Grandest LAN 2022 stream will be posted on youtube! This will begin sometime this week

How did the Kaiser switch to islam while sitting in the middle of a pure catholic holy roman empire? Is there a game mechanic I am not aware of?
There are some far fetched options how this could be possible in an unmodded game(e.g. by getting force converted by a country which has a reform which allows converting of heathens or by getting a sunni province which they can take because it borders a subject and then inciting sunni zealots in that province and accepting their demands which is possible if the sunni province has more dev than their other province), but they would lose emperorship if erbkaisertum has not been passed. My guess would be that the mod which was used to give the Kaiser special abilities also enabled this in some way.

Save game edits were used between the game sessions, that's how we (Somalia) became a peasant republic.
I'd add that you can have quite a lot of fun things happen by giving a good rp reason to the gm's, playing the roleplaying aspect of the event and putting some effort into it.
We got that peasant republic reform by chasing one of the turbolarp guys around the castle, bringing him to Cesar and beheading him in front of the court (the guy dressed as our corrupt duke that we peasants wanted to get rid off). The turbolarp guys are quite good actors so it was really funny all along
