The graphics card doesn't support required features

Receive the above title as a pop up when the game is started. If I continue the game freezes when loading.

CPU is AMD Athlon 64X2 duel core processor 4400+
Memory is 2048 MB DDR duel channels
GPU is EVGA Nvidia Geforce GTS 450 with 1024 MB memory
Video driver is Nvidia 280.26

I have gone to the game config and set all at lowest settings level and still have the same response. I have also installed the latest game patch 1.021 and even uninstalled and reinstalled both game and patch.

Any help out there would be most welcome. Thanks...LA

Try to delete settings.script file under user documents/Cities in motion folder. If that doesn't help, then it's a problem with the graphic drivers.

I want to thank you very much for the information that corrected my problem. The game apparently wrote a new script that worked. It was also longer than the one I deleted. I was putting all my efforts into a driver issue that I didn't have including installing the latest beta 285.27. I was even able to open my saved games I have. Thanks again and maybe this fix will help others with simular issues...
