You - Your Realm Of Choice
Rules:
1.Anti-bash rules:
- one is only allowed to bash heathens on the same continent* during (any) crusade. At the moment crusades ebb out you immediately send WP offer. If you are unable to send WP at that moment because of other pending peace, you do it when/if the pending offer is turned down. If the WP is turned down, player must announce it (and I will only believe it if it's realistic, not like Jatviags turning down Polish WP) and then it's fair game for all until the target realm is dead.
And I don't care if you have 1% siege left. You didn't make it, so wait for next crusade.
- one is allowed to bash heathens on other continents* if there's a crusade and target province is owned by heathen you want to bash (means you may not attack Zirids if Fatimids hold Jerusalem and crusade is for Jerusalem).
- one is allowed to bash heathens on other continents* during an ongoing crusade, if any territory of his primary title is owned by a heathen (Byzantine reconquista rule and KoJ rule).
- one is allowed to always bash heathens if attacked by them or if asked to help in war against them (alliance/vassal help call).
* - continents here are Europe, Asia and Africa with their historical borders.
Khwarizm belongs to Asia, Georgia belongs to both Asia and Europe (means being Georgia you've a lot of options), Byzantium belongs to Europe.
2.Anti-grab rules:
- one is allowed to only claim titles that are exactly one tier lower than his, with folowing exceptions, in which a king is allowed to grab count titles:
> the target realm is an independent count
> the target duchy has not been created
> the target duke title is alteady owned by the king or his vassal
- one is only allowed to usurp or inherit titles (or their claims) that are same or higher tier than his.
3.AI BB rules:
- if player misses a session or part of it and during that time his realm is run by AI, he is eligible to have his BB reduced on following conditions:
> 1/2 of AI-made BB stripped if AI has made gains but at the same time lost land
> all of AI-made BB stripped if AI has only lost land
(this rule is specially for cases when game is rendered unplayable for player after being run by AI)
4.AAR rules:
- if a player writes an AAR, he recieves up to 2.5BB (+1%loyalty/month) BB reduction for each session where he did write an AAR. The rating system is yet to be devised.
- if a player writes an AAR, he should mention in first post that the AAR is of this game and have a link to game. Likewise, he should provide me with a link to AAR, so I can put up an AAR list.
5.Some rules from first GG (not to be considered obsolete!):
- We will start the game at the scheduled time with the players that show, if you are going to be late or can’t make it, send an ICQ or post here. We can stop the game and rehost to pick up late players. A player is responsible for finding their own Sub.
- If you attack a country, you must have roleplay reason for it, and it must be publicly stated. It doesn't have to be a good reason; "He laughed when my horse stumbled at my recent tournament" will do. But some kind of reasoning is needed. Also, you'll probably find it easier to garner support for an attack on a player country if your reason has some kind of ingame relevance.
- Gentlemanly conduct is required at all times. You are certainly permitted to ravage another player's kingdom, carry off his daughters and his treasure, kill his armies, and force him to sign a humiliating peace; but be polite about it. No swearing, no name-calling.
No diplomacy with the country of a player who isn't present - this is less important in CK, of course, with its limited diplo options. Also, no DOWing an AI'd player country; if it DOWs you, you can defend yourself and take a province or two, but no total rapings. However, a player who is often absent may find the rest of us not enforcing this rule any too strenuously.
- Avoid AFKs. By Murphy's Law, we will always crash in the middle of one, and then the rest of us are stuck waiting for our one AFK player. If it's something really unavoidable, ok, but at least give notice, and be prepared to find we've crashed and gone on without you. And AFKs of the style "watching the TV in the other room at the same time" is really a bit rude. We're here to play, not watch you watching TV.
Due to the scope of what we are trying to do, by playing an MP game spanning four Paradox Games, CK-EUIII-Vicky-HOI2
- Upon starting a player versus player war, the aggressor must state their war goals. This is necessary so all players will understand what the attacker is looking for and what the defender must consider to end the hostilities. For example; As the Duke of Apulia I demand that Sicily surrender the county of Trapani and recognize Apulia as their new ruler. During the conflict both sides can negotiate these demands.
- During player versus player wars, no side can take lands from their opponents realm without first controlling the opponents demesne counties.
Join in and show us what you can!
And don't worry about your skill, noone is a big veteran here, we all are still learning!
