Stribog, this is an English-only forum. The mods do not allow ANYONE to post in any language besides English (except in the designated other language forums, but I believe there are only three: French, Spanish, and German). Also, I believe we have all agreed that in our game, nobody will be allowed in if they don't speak English for the majority of the time. This is to prevent a sense of isolationism and splintering, as well as to prevent cliques/seperate groups from forming. We're all playing together, but when only one person can understand both groups (BinTravkin), it feels like there are two seperate games going on, which is unacceptable. Therefore, I'm sorry, but, especially after what you and your friends did yesterday (suddenly leaving the game with little to no explanation and refusing to even explain it in Latin text to Bin), I will support you not playing in the game unless you speak English for almost all of the time. It is not personal whatsoever, but we cannot afford to have the players split so obviously in a game of this scale.

BY THE WAY (just to catch your attention after that big paragraph), I can post a thread in the EU2 forum about interest in a massive game from 1066-1920 (let's leave out HOI for now, people might think that far too ambitious), and, simply to attract more players for the time being and generate interest, I'll say the time is open for discussion (but I think that we can't really move the time too much, our current players must be able to participate). But, I'm not sure who would be able to do this better: Lurken or myself. While I on the one hand have a reputation for trying to start up hopeless causes (really just my numerous attempts at trying to pull the EU2 community into a game of this scale, before they or CK were ready). However, I can offer up the fact that I am in an ongoing game of such a scale and also that I have significant experience in CK, EU2, and Victoria multiplayer. I know not Lurken's reputation, but if Lurken would post to the thread sometime it probably wouldn't make a difference which one of us did it, and I'll try as I've got nothing to do right now. :D

However, I'm debating what to name the thread: should I just say a 1066-1920 game, the name of the new game (which I believe should be more elaborate than The Great Game 2 or 3), or something else.

Whatever language he wrote in, looks similar to Polish so I can translate the gist of what it. It's something along the lines of: <he can't continue playing with us on Sundays since he already plays with some Russian players for 3-4 hours until 21:00. He'd play with us up until midnight Saturday's.> That's as far as my Polish took me.

EDIT: Sterk, name the thread "CK MP: the few, the proud, the desperate" ;)

I do hope the last part is a joke :p. I'm not quite sure what to name it, but I believe that would drive people away (I've tried desperate before in real-life cases... hasn't worked :D). I'm thinking "Kings, Emperors, and Statesmen" to represent the change from the kingdoms Middle Ages to the larger empires of the Rennaissance to the democracies and whatnot of the Victorian Age as well as hopefully a personal focus upon characters in AARs and such.

Hi germax. At the end of the last session I think we were somewhere around the 1094 mark. And of course you're more than welcome to join. However, it looks like this MP game will be started anew a week after Easter Sunday. In the mean time we are trying to work out certain issues, like gathering up more players and like Sterk said making the game more stable (anyone have any ideas on this one, btw?). For now all I can suggest is to keep checking this thread for updates. Hopefully one of our GMs (binTravkin or CSK) will chime in shortly to give this thing some more direction. ;)
 
Bin, could you possibly create a thread or, if you want, just give me permission to create a thread in CK MP forum for the new game. It looks like we're having some success with the EU2 thread so far (2 players: germax and Sander), so let's hope we can get this together this time.

Salute to Sterk - the name is very good, although I could've said it differently, I probably couldn't have thought up it at first place..:D

Insane, germax, Johoo, as well as everyone else, are all welcome to join.
While we wait for the sunday after the coming one (which is holiday also for this game), you can get acquainted with scenario (it's very easy to install and you can find a reference to it in first post), read the rules and post any objections or suggestions as well as do any other friendly chatting, like for example choosing your country (but that's only after reviewing scenario).

Upon choosing, just be aware that some countries have been picked in the first start of the game and are currently busy. However you could talk to their respective rulers and probably agree that you take the country in question and the guy takes other one.
Currently occupied countries are:
Poland - Sterk - I do think he could want changing it upon certain circumstances ;)
Germany - Lurken - as far as I know Lurken he's pretty flexible on what he plays
Sweden/Denmark - Varyar - I doubt he loves any of them after these 30 years :D
Leon - Kujy - same here :D
Italy - CSK - he seems to like his warm seat down here on the boot, but it might change if someone takes Apulia or Burgundy
Tzare - Serbia - he is our serbian patriotic player, I doubt he'd be willing to give it up

So, the (completely) free independent realms are (here I would like to note that taking free unindependant realm unless your liege is AI would be bad as we expierenced in the little years we managed to pass):

Duchies:
- Apulia (base for Kingdom of Naples or 2 Sicilies if you wish)
- Braganza (base for Kingdom of Portugal)

- Irish duchies (3 of them IIRC)
- Russian principalities* - Kiev, Novgorod, Pereyaslavl, Polock, Pronsk

* - remarks:
- Pereyaslavl and Pronsk are good bases for creation of Kingdom of Cuman
- Kiev, Novgorod and Pereyaslavl are good bases for creation of Kingdom of Rus
- Pronsk is a good base for creation of Kingdom of Bolgar
- Polock is a good base for creation of Kingdom of Lithuania

Make your picks from the free ones or negotiate with current players if they would like to try other country.

If you feel that you wont be able to update first post, I can do that, although Im not the best updater either.

If you continue to play on sundays at the same time, I wont be able to continue to play with you. I could play till 00:00 saturday, but not sunday. Im better off playing for 3-4hours, till 21:00 in sunday, with my russian friends, that's if I need to make choice between them and us. I started organising CKMP games on russian forums even before I met you, and I better play with them, cause they have limited timeframe and games do not end so late. (I cut some here, basically he's saying our ending is too late for him)

P.S. My friends that time thought that you are the guys I gathered for our(russian) game.

Georgia it is, Johoo, the country I most missed in this game as in the last session I even had to play sultanate of Quarakhinid or whatever its called as it stupidly dowed my vassal.
