So we've had a game running from 1066 and Crusader Kings, and now we are approaching the end of Vicky. Obviously, the next step is conversion to HoI2. Unfortunately, we've been running out of players lately, the Vicky community being rather small. Thus there are nine Great Powers, of which only three are played. The powers are:

Norway (King of Men)
China (Sid Meier)
Byzantium (Skarion)

England
Burgundy
Poland (satellite to Norway)
Persia
Italy
Spain

Obviously, the history is rather different from the real one, so we would not be using any historical events, and we would change the tech teams about a bit for balance.

The nations are roughly balanced. England has a strong position in Canada and India, owns Australia, and is fighting China for control of Japan, in addition to owning the western third of France. Burgundy Owns the other two-thirds of France, a huge chunk of Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and the southern US. Both are extremely strong industrial powers. Italy has its historical extent plus some bits and pieces here and there, and is strongly industrialised. Poland extends from the Oder to the Urals - roughly, the European parts of Imperial Russia; but it's a satellite and going to stay that way, thanks. Persia owns Hungary, where the dynasty started, and and a huge chunk of Asia. Spain has about two-thirds of Africa, plus those parts of South America not owned by Burgundy; it is really huge. Anyone who'd like to take a look at the situation in Vicky can find a recent save here:

So, we need six players, and if you have Vicky and can join us for the first two decades of the twentieth century, that's even better. Game time is Saturdays, 0700 Pacific time, 1000 Eastern time. We will not be using DD.
