Chapter II
A Change
Otto is living the medieval good life. He watches as Europe is at war from the inside, his Duchess is taking care of the rabble. The family is sort of well with a son with the great pox and his heir's wife is an adulteress. But all is not well, something was missing, it was the sense of accomplishment for his family. He had a dilemma. He had this claim on the county of München. He could press the claim and he might just win. But factoring in that he was getting old, he could lose the county when he dies, but he could reap the rewards before he died. In the end...
But that stupid fool Count Dietrich decided to go over the the other side. He will pay and pay dearly.
In the end
That will put the fear in the minds of those who cross Otto. Which happened soon enough. And a short conflict at that.
Seem that the Liberty was in the air.
That was the least of Otto's worries. He decided to go on a pilgrimage as his time was getting short.
Getting there was half the fun.
Once Otto was back he shared what he had heard. There was turmoil in the English Isles
One reason the Pope made a huge announcement.
More woes for the family as the pox infects more and more people.
in the end it was not the Pox that done Otto in, it was old age.
