The helmet is pure fantasy, but the brigandine with straps and chainmail is actually somewhat close. Scaled armour would be more fitting, but I think seeing a more western-style riveted brigandine in a city so important for trade is not something unimaginable I suppose. Overall the original Purple Phoenix T1 is much closer to what the late medieval armour looked in Byzantium though.
They did say that the Theodoro unit models were kind of designed with Byzantium in mind. Any thoughts on their T1 for accuracy? I much prefer them to both Purple Phoenix and Imperator unit models.

I couldn't find a listing on the Steam page, but check your Paradox launcher. It might be present under "Downloadable Content."

Nothing appears for me there unfortunately. SteamDB hasn't updated since I last checked so I imagine you couldn't find a listing for the same reason none of us are able to download it, that it just hasn't been made properly available yet despite the announcement on the part of @BjornB

Well, I'm by no means qualified to judge this, but based on my general knowledge of history I'd say the Theodoro T1 looks more like a high medieval Byzantine armour rather than 15th–16th century gear. I think it fits the region, but not the period. Italian products and fashion had masssive influence over early rennaisance Mediterranean, and by the time Constantinople was about to fall, most regular soldiers there would probably be wearing some pretty standard combination of brigandines and plate with some more western-style helmets. A hypothetical resurgent Byzantium like we see in EU4 would probably incorporate more eastern elements from the regional levies too, however.

I think the Pruple Phoenix pack is pretty good fantasy overall for Byzantium that expands eastwards, but the T2–T4 look too civillian. The Theodoro pack fits kinda nicely with a hypothetical Byzantium that would control mostly areas of modern-day Greece, heavily influenced by Italy, but with a bit of eastern-European twist. The Imperator pack is mostly pure fantasy, but if you removed the silly lorica segmentata elements from T2 and T3 (replace them with an actual contemporary cuirass like T4) and the over-the-top helmet from T1, it would be actually pretty believable fantasy for a pontential resurgent Roman Empire that would be located mainly in the European space. Especially the T2 and T4 for example would really fit the ideals of the classicist and neoclassicist periods, this is where the pseudo-legionary helmets start making sense.

I used to have a mod to use the Theodoro units for Byzantium. Maybe I should fix that.

All accounts should have it by default added to their accounts, click on Manage my XXX DLC to check if it´s there.

I tried on 3 non-internal accounts and it was there, if you are missing it please get in touch with us in the Bug Forum.

It could be Steam is having an issue with updating accounts that didn´t have it before the change was made

You should see it in the Launcher and in the Manage my DLC´s page

Followed your directions to check through both Steam as well as the EU4 launcher and unfortunately I still cannot access it, I have posted a bug report.

No joy here. I followed Grotoclas' suggestion to clear the download cache, but that was also without success.

Im excited to finally play with that unit pack but I can't find it anywhere on my account or on the steam store.
Can somebody help me get that?

Edit: I got the game by getting the Extreme Edition on steam, maybe that have something to do with it.
