KillCrazy13's AARs
Welcome to my Inkwell. My general style of AARs is as a history book with in-world artefacts and documents to add verisimilitude to the story.
Current AARs:
Sons of the Phoenix - An Iberian Tale(AAR of the Week Feb25)
A tale of the Spartenos family, a Greco-Iberian House who try to hold true to their Nizari faith in the time of the Re-Conquista.
THE ACHAEMENID SAGA
The Last of the Achaemenids (Part 3)- Ongoing Megacampaign in EU4 now (Megacampaign of the Year 2024, AAR of the Week June24)
The much-reduced empire in EU4 seeks to navigate a changing world as we plunge into the early-modern period of history. The Achaemeneh (Part 2)- COMPLETED
The CK3 Campaign from 476 AD to 1400 AD as the empire weathers the storm of the medieval age and the rise of new powers and religions. The Last of the Achaemenids (Part 1) - COMPLETED
An Imperator Rome story of the last Achaemenids and their return from a Hellenic backwater to masters of a reborn empire and the inevitable decline over the centuries.
Gatekeepers of India, a Zunist Megacampaign - Abandoned due to a bug wiping out the population of the world
A CK3 story of the Zunbil dynasty in Afghanistan as they attempt to revive their Zunist faith and the worship of the sun. 867 AD to 1017 AD
The Christian Kingdom of Sarir - the Forgotten Persian Principality - Abandoned due to mod conflicts
A CK3 story of Sarir in the Northern Caucasus, a forgotten remnant of Sassanid Empire and a Christian Kingdom alone in a sea of heathens. Mod conflicts ended the run but it ended on a semi natural spot as the Seljuks invade forcing Sarir to surrender all its holdings below the Caucasian mountains and they slowly fade back into irrelevance. 867 AD to 1060 AD
This is my first attempt at an AAR, but this is my - checks notes - third run at the story I hope to tell. It will be chaotic, I might end up quitting before I finish it, the save could break again in the 1000s (killed the first two tries)...
Aquasparky's AARs
Hello and welcome to my Inkwell! I am a newbie Stellaris player trying to figure my way through the game, all the while writing stories in the process.
In-Progress The Conjured Universe - A Stellaris AAR - A Stellaris AAR about a simulated galaxy and about my journey to beat the game. The first empire I play is the Buhavilaan Alliance, an Egalitarian/Materialist/Militarist Military Commissariat with an emphasis on nationalism.
Cancelled Consuming Knowledge - A Newbie's Stellaris AAR - My first AAR. A Stellaris AAR where I play as a Collective Consciousness hivemind. Nominated In the Q1 2022 ACAs. Cancelled due to lack of interest and other commitments.
"And behold, Assur spoke in dreams to his king, saying: ‘Go forth and raise your banner, for I have placed in your hand the rod of the gods. You shall crush kingdoms and make the earth tremble. Go and take what is yours’."
The king of Assyria is not yet a conqueror, nor has his people tasted the glory of battle in distant lands. But the world is divided, and power belongs to those bold enough to seize it. The trade routes must be protected. Enemies lurk at every border. The neighboring cities defy the authority of Assur.
War is inevitable.
Destiny does not wait.
The roar of the lion must be heard.
Now, the Scourge of the North descended.
Now, the city of Assur would rise upon the ruins of the wicked.
Now, the age of Assyria had begun
Hello this is my second aar of ck3 because i lose mi first one with the uptade roads of power i espect you enjoy and share coments about them
CaesarOfCK's AARs Hello and welcome to my Inkwell. It's the first time I start AARs. Hopefully, you'll enjoy reading my AARs and will be kind enough to give me feedbacks!
Current AARs: The Kingdom Of The Franks (Regnum Francorum) - This AAR is centered around the Kingdom of the Franks in 1081 AD, where we will see the the rise of France and House Capet in Western Europe (well hopefully).
Cancelled AARs: The Italian question - An AAR that I wasn't able to start due to my studies.
thyprophet's AAR(s) I don't really have a style. Historically accurate maybe?
Ongoing AARs:
Silvaticus: A Anglo Saxon AAR - A story about Eadric the Wild and his descendants, and his struggle to survive as the Anglo-Saxon world comes under fire by foreign invaders.
History of Taurica and its people – the history of the development and changes taking place in the Tauric state over the centuries, divided into the most important historical periods.
This AAR tells the story of the Empire of Tyrol established by the Jewish von Eberstein dynasty. Along the line Israelite culture spreads across Europe while Israel is also reclaimed for the Jews. Tensions rise as EU4 sees the weakening of the Empire and the establishment of foreign hegemons, both Jewish and Non-Jewish, eager to end the Empire once and for all. And when the antics of Empress Samdup enrage the Jewish merchants, a Republic is born, albeit neither Alpine nor democratic, but rather Pyrenean and oligarchic... for now...
This AAR tells the story of how three nations guided the world onwards towards socialism as a dynamic trio. Crazy emperors and girlbosses?? You have it all here!
Hello all! While I'm basically completely new the writing of AARs and this type of thing, I've been a writer since high school/college (now a comms professional in my 30s) and a lover of historical fiction, fantasy, and Paradox games for most of that time.
I recently came up with an (I think) new concept for a playthrough of Crusader Kings 3 based on its historical characters, and I'm excited to share it with you, hope you'll check it out! Basically, I played from 867 to 1453 by hopping from one historical character to another, setting off a new adventure each time. See the full playthrough as it evolves below!
Crusader Kings 3
Six Hundred Years of History - From 867 to 1453 with (Almost) Only Historical Characters - A Semi-Historical CK3 AAR
An AAR in the style of the Book of Mazarbul from The Lord of the Rings, with little bits of lore dotted in between chapters of the book—being an alternative history of Balin's Folk and the reclamation of Moria.
Greetings, I am new to these parts, and I was told it's also a good idea to post my ARR here. My style isn't ARR'ish as I write things as they happen and not after, so there are allot of 'dead ends' and characters I introduce and end up not doing much. Since I play CK3 with the Agot mod (try it!), I borrowed the style of the book and wrote about events from the point of view of the characters. I also heavily use AI art... no real reason really, I just think it makes it look pretty I guess... If anyone thinks it is something they might be interested in browsing (not much reading tbh lol) you can find my current sage here:
This Saga will start with Crittark (Random name), the just brave and ambitious leader of the tiny Hoofcrag Clan for the Halfvale (unsettled lands across Vaernon Keep). He is a doo-gooder who wants to find a home for his people to settle.
For the curious and impatient, I made this rudimental site to curate my images, where you can find the current sage, the OG saga that started it all (Unwin Saga), and for now, that one collab I did with a fellow Discordian (Sanguinius Starfyre).
Howdy, I'm Daybreak! I'm an amateur writer whose native language is not English, so my writing isn't as good as I wish it were, yet. Feedback is welcomed and encouraged.
Hello everyone, I will be moving some excellent stellaris fan fiction works from China. I have obtained authorization from the original author and will be moving them. Of course, as English is not my native language, there may be extremely serious grammar errors and a large number of memes that cannot be translated. Please forgive me.
This is the first fan work I am currently moving.Regarding the reactions of each country in an event that occurred in the Milky Way before 2500 AD.This will be an excellent journey of space opera
Hello everyone, I am working on a Crusader Kings III AAR, titled God's Hand made Wonders, God's Hand made Me - A Norman Sicily AAR.
This will be my second attempt at a CK3 After Action Report. The first one was also a Hauteville AAR, which I had attempted 2 years ago. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued due to time management, me getting burned out, and the inclusion of new DLCs and content that made it outdated. I am going to give the Hautevilles another shot, but this time it's going to be somewhat different. I will be skipping forward to 1178 during the reign of William II or William "the Good". He was the last Norman king of Sicily until he was succeeded by the Hohenstaufens, who married William's designated heir Constance de Hauteville.
So what if things turned out differently? What if Hauteville rule was to continue for a few hundred more years? Let's find out. But first, we shall start with a prelude to get us up to date.
As with my first AAR, this one will be a historical record written from the perspective of an unknown chronicler. So there will be use of historical terms that may be confusing to those who aren't familiar with medieval history. For example, the use of "German Empire" will be referring to the Holy Roman Empire.
