This thread is for Kaliphate events, monarchs, leaders, anything related.
Monarchs and leaders are done, sent to Archduke. Note all of them are fantasy.
A basic outline for events is as follows:
15th century-
-Early on, a Jihad against the Kingdom of Jerusalem, with support from other Muslim states (This is designed to drive the KoJ out in most games).
-An event where the Caliphate reclaims the lands of Persia (the Middle Eastern parts only)
16th century-
-Shi'a uprisings in Persia and Iraq
-Administrative/legal reforms
-Artistic/cultural development
17th century-
-Persians demand degree of autonomy (through DP sliders...)
-Option to gain Persian culture, based on previous events
18th century-
-Shi'a tolerance in Persia - or lose Persian culture
Other ideas-
Byzantium expands into Turkey, Turks appeal for assistance from the Kaliphate...
Fatimid Caliphate resurgence in Egypt (note - this Caliphate is Shi'a... ) - this could be dependent on certain religious tolerance choices the Kaliphate makes
