I'm now at 52 Sols past the successful ending of the war, and the "cheap" supplies from Earth are still available. I was playing with SpaceY and Futurist (with a Random mystery), and for this game "cheap" materials turned out to mean free high-level materials (polymer/machine parts/electronics) in both the space elevator and rockets, and only 7.5M per food/concrete/metal in the space elevator (a full space elevator of metal or food is 200M). I assumed that this was due to the initial reduction in pricing for SpaceY adding to the reduction from the mystery completion...like the 80% cheaper concrete in domes tech + 50% cheaper all materials in domes tech added together to make domes no longer need concrete at all to build. I'd expected those to get compounded together so that it'd end up being 90% off rather than 100% off so finding that out was a nice surprise (expectation was 80% off + 50% of the remaining off = 90%).

I had been expecting the war conclusion benefits to end at 50 Sols, but they didn't. I was wondering if anyone knows whether there is a cutoff time, or whether those benefits will continue indefinitely? Not that I'm complaining at all - I'm just trying to work out whether I need to hoard stuff for use after prices go back to normal. :)

Which is why I asked if anyone had a more accurate idea of how long it would last for, as "a few Sols" tells me very little. I initially expected that to mean 5-10 Sols, when it extended past that I thought that maybe it was 50 to match with how long you'd lose contact with Earth for if you failed to prevent the war, but it didn't end at 50 Sols either. It's been 52 Sols so far and still continues. So it makes me wonder if my game is bugged (i.e. the end of the price reduction failed to activate), if the "a few Sols" is just flavour text and it's not going to end, or if someone who has played the mystery knows how much longer those few Sols will last?
