that would be nice, with help of soviet and spanish forces that can be done. but then ill have a land border with Italy, so i need to kill themk first. But the spanish and soviets lack transports. maybe we can hold out until war starts and maybe then Italy will join axis and voila the Italians have to face the brittish in N Africa as well.

oh and even if i do loose. Lets hear it for the country that started with no military and no chance of kicking italians, Hurray Hurray.

ii don't think the Russians and Spanish can help u forever, i mean if a miricle happens (this is easter mind u) and you hold out untill the brits take Africa and land on the Mainland italy it would surely relieve alot of prussure.

A screen of a game of mine from 1940. I have run Italy off the Continent, checked Germany (They haven't even attacked Poland yet), conqured Hungary, Czechloslavokia Yugoslavia, Romania and aiming at Bulgaria and Greece soon. Also, the Allies are checked as well...

Episode 2: Part 3 onward to victory!..hopefully

Spanish forces attempts a landing with 2 divisions at Taranto on july 20th, it dont look good so its called off after some hours.

a week later two spanish strat bomber squadrons take off for start bombing mission against Bari.

To attempt to break the naval deadlock and get the war moving war is declared on Yugoslavia on the 29th and the division of the allies of Albania attack.

Ou brave troops:

On august the fourth Germany declares war on the comitern and bring Yugoslavia to the axis. Great now we have to fight the kreigsmarine aswell.

Not to speak of the Wehrmacht.

A new militia division is ready on the 8th and assinged to General Hoxas.

On the 30th Germany issue a ultimatum to Poland: Give us Danzig or get WAR!
Poland backed by western allies chooses to get steamrolled.

On september the fourth Tirana is attacked by Yugoslavian troops and the battle will last for a week. On september the ninth Comitern high command realise that the naval situation is a disaster the combined fleet is down to 4 beatenupp sub flottialas but on the other hand the axis navies are busy figthing the allied ones.

More costal forts are done in Tirana on october the seventh. Bulgaria launches a sneak attack on Skopje after joining the axis.

The front has been moving back and fourth, many soviet forces were allowed to move throue Romania but since they joined the allies i gues they have to be steamrolled. Anyway Zog is happy to see the status and he is confident that if just the soviet generals do their jobb Albania will get pay back on Italy and Germany will proberly go down to.

Ps. I have a great promblem just after some hours (game wise) after that screen is taken, Yugoslavia leaves axis and joins allies making me loose all that i conquered. Gues i have to load as Yugo and let me be steamrolled by Albania.

This is a great idea - I hope that you can pull off one of them, but I don't think that it will be with Albania . Good luck & I'll keep you eyes on this to see how it all works out.

I'm reading. It has been a month since you updated more regular though. I don't think it was right of Yugo to switch Allies like that. Do you have a previous save to go back to and try again to see if it happens again?

Episode 2: Part 4 and one country less

One day Zog was taking a stroll in the park thinking of how good the war against Yugoslavia is going and how much he owns in grateude to the comitern forces.

An adivisor comes running to him and says. "Yugoslavia is annexed sir!"
Zog becomes very happy and ask his advisor if he got any other new. The adisor tells him to come to the war room. On the map he can see that Romania and Bulgaria stand agaisnt the night and that means that soviet forces will be freed upp to be used on other front. German troops are mostly concentrataded on the eastern front but the border to Albania is ligthy defended, so Germany has a very soft underbelly. Hungary is also highly pressed and will be annexed anytime. The meeting is concluded with the singing of the Albanian national anthem

Italy will regrett its warmongering against Albania, lets hope i can capture some italian ships since the entire Comitern fleet is wiped out. All that is left is a Spanish sub flottilia with like 3 in strength and 2 transportflottilias. Oh and the Regia Marine is all but gone the few ships that are left is getting riddled by the RN. The kriegsmarine is all over the med too.
