Name: Dáin the Cyclops Blacklocks
Age: 77
Path: Technology
Region: 7 (also known as Mithrin), Borghildr
Race: Half-Dwarf, Half-Goblin
Bio: Born to Balin Blacklocks, leader of the Blacklocks Cartel, and Zazaria, a Goblin and daughter of the leader of the Gundzad Cartel, after marriage between the two as part of an agreement that ended a long war between the two cartels in the province of Mithrin, the young Dáin felt a lot of pressure on himself being the heir to the Blacklocks Cartel and second in line to the Gundzad Cartel. From a very young age he showed a keen interest in the family business and a knack for technology, impressing both his father and his maternal grandfather who spared no money in providing him with the best tutors and mentors to educate and teach him necessary skills. For the next two decades of his life Dáin served both cartels and earned the respect and loyalty of many in both. Eventually when he was 39 his maternal grandfather passed away and when his mother, Zazaria, waived her rights to lead the Cartel he was named its new leader. The following year his father died in a small skirmish and the cartel passed to him. Merging both cartels together he kept the name 'Blacklocks Cartel' and proceeded to use his new found power to squash the other cartels in Mithrin under his boot. Eventually, after decades of fighting, in which he lost his eye and earned the nickname 'the Cyclops', he has unified Mithrin under he and his cartel's rule and now seeks to spread his control further.

The Council of Astaroth

The council was created by Sallos as a way to unite the various races and cultures of Yagator. It is composed of eight members, and is lead by Sallos himself. The other seven members are all clan leaders whom control the social and economic policies of their race.

Magog
oMhXj.jpg

The head of the Orcish Battlesong Clan, Magog is widely considered the second strongest being in Astaroth. A formidable fighter Magog cast away the stereotypes of Orcish barbarians and donned a suit of full armor. His clan is highly disciplined and relies on strategy and organization over the normal Orcish Brutality.

Andras

The head of the Jackals. A Clan of trolls that oversee the coasts of Astaroth. Andras like all those of his clan is a skilled spearmaster, but also knows the ways of a Witch Doctor. He is known to be extremely violent and impulsive, often getting in head disagreements with the other members of the Council.

Belial

The oldest member of the council. Belial is a Yog and leads the Bellowfury clan. He is said to have monstrous physical strength, and could even be half ogre. He hates Magog and will rarely ever work with him.

Hawken

The second orc on the council, Hawken is the youngest member and leads the Stormcry clan. He like Andras is impulsive but unlike Andras he is known for his pacifism and dislikes bloodshed, but will not run from a fight.

Asmodeus

The co founder of the Council and the first to flock to Sallos's banner. Asmodeus is known for his wisdom, fierce loyalty, and skill on the battlefield. He leads his fellow Minotaurs of the Runetotem clan.

Paimon

Sallos's right hand man and leader of most of the imps and lesser demons in Astaroth. He controls the actual Astarothian Administration and essentially handles all the paperwork. Some say that Paimon was the first demon Sallos ever bound.

Aosoth

The only female on the council and the leader of the Darkheart Elves. When Sallos returned she was with him, and some even say she may even be his daughter.

Feast in the Moonlight

873_max.jpg

Thalissia of Jili, Queen of Anikatos

It was the Month of the Moon, the month in which the magic of the elves was amplified to an immense level of power. Thalissia, my Queen, had invited all of the lords of the realm to come and feast in the capital, as was tradition. In fact, I remember coming to the feasts many time when I was much younger in the company of my father, Lord Utumno of Tol Ilu. The capital was a great city, burgeoning with magic and power; it had enthralled me in my youth and it was on the trips here with my father that I first saw the Royal Mage Academy. My heart was set on someday studying in those great halls, and I did. There I outperformed all the competition and proved to myself what I had an inkling of since I first cast a minor ward spell; namely that my magical power was the greatest of a whole generation and that the person to lead the elves to greatness would be me. Finally reaching the hall of my Queen, I examined myself before entering. I was wearing a flowing white dress and a golden necklace with a beautiful amethyst embedded in it. They looked beautiful on me. I removed my shoes, as was customary when entering a place of celebration, especially in a time as holy as this. I then strode into the hall.

I spotted the Queen with her gorgeous blue hair and pale skin. I walked slowly up to her and bowed deeply, taking her bare right foot in my hands and kissing it, in accordance with the tradition when one meets the Queen. What lovely feet she has, I'm certainly glad that sense I am giving her my oath of vassalage I get to kiss her foot again. Regardless, the Queen took my head in her hands and softly kissed me on the forehead, a sign of respect for those who serve you in Elven society.

"Your Majesty." The gruff voice of a certain Lord Enedon appeared beside me. I looked up and noticed my Queen give the man a return of greeting and a slight bow of her head, apparently unconcerned by the man not abiding by the customary greeting of the Queen. Ignoring the bothersome man beside me, I continued with the Oath of Vassalage saying, "My Queen, I pledge myself and my house to your service." I took her magnificent right foot in my hands again and laid my lips upon it, longing to have them remain more, but abiding by decorum I removed them. The Queen once again lightly kissed my forehead and left me alone with the Elven lord beside me.

I rose up and gave him a slight smile, "Greetings, Lord Enedon."

"My Lady." He returned. Not very good at conversation is he? Oh well, not everyone can be good at everything, except for me of course. In order to pass the time between my kind Queen's return I said, "I trust you have been doing well?"

"I have." The man shook his head, "Had any new fun run ins with the humans?" Is he really still on about that? Grow up man and stop obsessing.

"No, I have not. They are about the least of my concerns." I answered him.

"Alright." The lord grinned at me and continued, "So how was Her Majesty's feet?" What kind of question is that? The man acts as if he has never kissed someone's foot before. He must be raised in some freakish Elven family, his brother is probably half-human and that's why he hates them so much. Poor Enedon's daddy was getting it on with some human whore instead of his lonely mother and he has to take out his over the top prejudice on me. What did I ever do to deserve this kind of treatment?

However, Her Majesty's feet, not to sound too cliche, were majestic. So beautiful and enticing.... What was this, a grin was appearing on my face, oh whatever. "Great, they are beautiful. She is above us and thus deserves it. I enjoy it in the same way that I enjoy my slaves kissing mine." Well maybe in a different way, but similar at the very least.

This caused him to shake his head, "So your slaves kiss your feet, its a shame really." A shame? Oh I see what this is about. Enedon wants me, especially my feet apparently. That freak thinks he can impress me by doing this, well the jokes on him. However, I could still flirt with him. Maybe entice him a little more so that he can someday be me slave. Knowing how strange he is, he would probably submit to that willingly soon enough if I can seduce him further.

"Why, do you want to kiss them instead of the slaves?" I said this with a grin and a wink of the eye, just to get him all riled up and further into a state where I can exploit him.

"I would kiss you in other places." He said with a warm smile. Aha! I was correct. Of course, he won't be getting anything from me anytime soon, but my victory over him and the rest of the world has come one step closer. "But why are you above the slaves, think about it. You have done nothing other than being born to your father, just as the slaves has to their parents." He shook his head, "You have yet to show your worth."

What did he just say? H-How... how dare he question my station and my power!? He is a damned fool! He knows nothing! Nothing, I say! Damn him to hell! Oh, he shall pay for this... You, fool, have signed your own death warrant. I will rule this land and when I do, I will have you brought to the deepest recesses of my tower and I will torture you for years. You will beg me to end your miserable life and I will refuse, for forgiveness for your sins can only come through your eternal pain and eventual death. And I will take immense pleasure from it! However, today I cannot touch you, so I will calm myself... "I have proven my worth in the academies. My magic power is unrivaled. And besides, just being born to my parents makes me superior to my slaves. Such is the way of the world."

"Such is the way of an entitled child." He said with a grin, his damned disgusting grin, "Every person has a worth, you have shown something in the academy, something I have never seen and neither has a lot of other people. Those slaves could be your best advisers for all you know." He chuckles, "Power unrivaled," He held a pause, "as you wish. Prove your worth, then come back and act like you own the world."

I will flay you alive... wait, the Queen is returning to us. I will not say a word. Just smile in his ugly face, I hope it gets burned in demon fire. The Queen arrived next to us with her X'tar adviser, O'it. He's filthy, how distasteful. However, I do imagine having one of them as a collaborator and adviser would assist with the subjugation, err, rule of the massive X'tar population of my region. Apparently she had heard the last sentence of the idiot lord in front of me and was not altogether pleased by what she heard. She said, "It is a dangerous time to speak of such provocations, our magic is now more powerful than ever, Lord Nartathion." O'it, in broken Elvish he picked up in the capital's academy said, "Sorry, interrupt lord, lady Elf."

"O'it, a pleasure to meet you again." He looks at the Queen "Of course your majesty, but all of our magics are and not just one of us and thus the point still stand." He thinks he is so smart and great, when in reality he's just the same as everyone else. He thinks he's better then, but I am actually better than him. I'm better than everybody of course, but that's beside the point.

"It is a great pleasure to be here, your Majesty. The moon is most beautiful this time of the year." I said to the Queen to allow her a way out of talking to that brute.

Thalissia nodded her regal head in agreement, "It is, and it must be interesting with all the rumors I have heard with your successes with magic, Lady Talvel." Thalissia is a great Queen, her beauty and wisdom surpass all but myself.

Enedon muttered something or other and went off to speak with some female countess. Ignoring him I turn my attention to my kind Queen. "I have not heard these rumors, but I hope that my abilities have been neither over represented or under represented."

O'it had been looking uneasy for a few moments before he began speaking, "'Me hear you have many of my people in your Zatrium Talvel Lady." Thalissia with her radiant smile looked first at the X'tar and then at me. She said, "O'it is impressed by how well the X'tar and Elves are living together in your region, Lady Talvel."

"Thank you, my Lord O'it. The House of Tol Ilu has long held a policy of allowing the large X'tar minority to live in peace. They maintain the same autonomy as the elves, having local councils run their own affairs." I answered them.

"I hope we can also work together with the other races on these isles in a peaceful manner, most of them are a lesser race than us, but they all have their wonderful uses." My Queen said. She is very wise, believing rightly that we are of a superior race, but acknowledging their use to us in the expansion and preservation of our realm.

"I could not agree more, my Queen." I smiled at her face, so beautiful that every man and women who sees it can not help but to admire it.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Lord Enedon whisper something to the countess, making her blush deeply and giggle. He's such a slut.... He then walked back up to us, exactly where I would like him not to be, and said, "Your Majesty, my lady, adviser."

"So, any certain feats you have managed, Lord Nartathion?" My Queen turned her attention to Enedon. No... don't look at that whore, look at me! I'm more interesting and beautiful than that slut will ever be, especially after I rip out most of his organs!

Still, he smiled and with a small and vastly annoying chuckle replied, "No there is nothing of a massive and impressive stature that I have done, Your Majesty"

She turned towards the steps on the balcony, "I guess it is time soon to start the feast Lord Nartathion and Lady Talvel, will you follow me for the Ebon Visium?"

We both wholeheartedly agree and follow her up to the balcony overlooking the sea filled with tables that were stacked with a grand assortment of wines and foods, but before we would partake in the feast it had come time to begin the tradition for the Month of the Moon. The Elven lords and ladies would all use their enhanced magic to light up the night sky, beginning with the youngest and moving in chronological order to the oldest. My queen turned to me and said, "Talvel, as you are the youngest lady with us tonight, you have the honor to start of our celebration."

I nodded and began softly chanting the words of power in the ancient Elven language, only understood these days by the mages of the Elven Kingdom of Anikatos. My arms raised and exuded a purple glow as a circle of purple runes appeared on the floor about me. Suddenly, a great purple dragon burst out of the sea, his form made entirely of pure mana. He flew about and twisted for a few moments until after a final push straight upwards the magical beast exploded in flash of bright purple light.

My Queen appeared to be impressed and even said, "Impressive Talvel, don't you think Enedon?" She gave Enedon a smile. Oh my sweet Queen, how lovely you look in purple. You are a true guiding light for me and all of us elves in this land. No one could ask for a monarch more powerful, wise, and beautiful as you. Truly, you are the epitome of all things that make elves great, the only being I have ever seen who stands near me in the rankings of this world, as they were ordained by the flow of magic, the winds of time, and work of man.

The bastard Lord Enedon responded, "Of course, Your Majesty." Oh that feels great, the prideful lord has been put into his place. Bested by a young woman who surpasses him in all aspects even at the moment, there is no telling how superior Talvel of Tol Ilu will be in ten years time, with all the power of magic at her hands and legions of loyal Elves, all subservient to her. Her knights will be great mages and ride upon dragons of magic who breath fire of pure arcane energy. The world will bow before her and she will be worshiped as a god! Tol Ilu will be the new holy site of a religion based upon magic and the complete servitude of Talvel. She will become immortal and surpass all of the many barricades that have been set against her. Divinity is her destiny!

A few other lords and ladies took their turns and produced a variety of mediocre shapes. If this is what the others can do, my domination is assured. Very soon it reached my gracious Queen's turn. She concentrated and soon a great ball of light ascended into the sky where it exploded into many smaller orbs who exploded each in their turn and so forth until finally ending with the tiniest of orbs that were unable to be seen even by Elves at such a distance. It was most impressive, she is a strong mage. This further proves her high standing and the fact that she is worthy of respect. A few more lords went until it reached the damnable man, Enedon. I am inclined to believe he will fail completely and show himself for who he truly is, a weakling.

He stepped forward and with a wave of his hands he shrouded the balcony and the city in intense darkness. He then crafted a small ball of pure light from his hands and sent it upwards. When it reached the sky, it split into three great shapes of light, two taking the shape of elves holding great dueling blades standing across from another while a third situated itself between them and took on the shape of the family crest of our good Queen. The two Elves bowed to each other and began an intense duel, with feints, swipes, stabs, and dodges; until finally the two lock swords for a good few moments and then turn, bowing to the assembled lords on the balcony. Immediately after all the forms of light explode in a brilliant haze. With a smug face the bastard Lord turned around and bowed before the Queen, like some sort of conductor after one of his symphony's greatest pieces. He simply said, "Your Majesty."

I hate him. He is nothing to me, like an insect. Yet he holds such powers that are able to dazzle and destroy. He will pay for this, I swear it! Damn him to the deepest pits of hell! How dare he upstage me, upstage our glorious Queen! I will become the true ruler of the land, with the Queen at my side and I will destroy you for the sins you have committed tonight. I will capture you and I will flay you alive and make you eat your own flesh! I will use tingling fire to sear your meat that will at that point lack an epidermic coating and I mark your flesh with lines of red! I will strap a carved piece of bone to my pelvis and ram your anal cavity until it bleeds! You are nothing!!!

However, I clap. I compliment him, for that day is not today. But, I can wait. Someday I will enact my revenge. Meanwhile my beautiful Queen compliments him and moves on to the older lords and ladies, the oldest of which is aged 174. After the end of the ceremony, she clapped her hands and called us to feast. And a grand feast it was. I actually had a good time. I positioned myself far away from that damned Lord Enedon and spent a nice evening talking with an old gentleman and my Queen. I believe I may have even flirted with her, but when confronted with a person so beautiful, wise, kind, and powerful; who could not?

Tricks of the Trade

Naranbaatar send out his trade camels throughout the continent, routes sending his most valuable goods away for more useful items, and currencies.
Reaching from his homeland Lentvaris to the capital of Borghildr, Ure. He has also established a trade route with his trade partner, Talvel, bonding the two areas by wealth. Within his own Donarian realm however raiders have plundered one of his trade groups, swiftly taking all the goods after having killed the merchants and the camels, they most likely ran toward Taeros, to sell the good on for their own good.
Stats:
1 Trade Route Plundered.
100 gold gained. (24, 24, 24, 28)

Lord Arthas I had send his newly mechanized trade companions safely across the regions closest to him, in order to attempt and preserve their capacity, and learning many things about how much they would be able to do. Most of his mechanical traders made the trips, there were two unfortunate ones however. One traveling to the west, caught by heavy weather, it's power drained, eventually leading to inner overheating, exploding and losing the valued trade items. Another one was send to Donarian lands, the natives thought it was a devil's creation, they gathered a group of people, striking the mechanical trader down into the ground. A lot has been learned from these machines however.
2 Trade Routes Plundered
72 gold gained (24, 24, 24)

Sallos send out his trade units through Yagator lands, even the mighty capital to share his materials with the rest of the regions, one of his units has gotten caught by a devastating spell during it's trip however, killing it from the inside out, the trade goods corroding away as well, to be lost forever. He had also send a unit to Anikatos, the X'tar inhabitants near the border were pleased with the items, and payed a good price as well.
1 Trade Route Plundered
92 gold gained (20, 20, 28, 24)

Aleena send her trade turtles out from the depths of the Zaq'Kamarian regions out to the Anikatos Capital of Nau'it and Tordynnar, the local elves were used to trading with the Zaq'Kamarians, however this new form of the transportation of goods had amazed them, strong giant turtles carrying any good you could have wanted, and so thought some of the X'tar fishermen, they had noticed one of the turtles near the capital of Anikatos. They were very intrigued when they found what contents were on the turtles, looting it and quickly leaving. Aleena had also taken some safer routes for her turtles within Zaq'Kamar, fairly safe routes giving fairly safe income.
1 Trade Route Plundered
80 gold gained (20, 20, 20, 20)

Eluine send out his trade units as well, though not as new and amazing to the people as Aleena's trade turtles, but the Octipii are well known for their trading within the region as well, but because of being a well known way to trade, there were certain raiders which knew the weaknesses very well, very well indeed. One of the Octipii was attacked on the way to Lantea, some speculate Aleena to be behind it, yet other report all different kinds of stuff, it is however fairly unknown what had really happened to the Octipii. This was however not the only one to be raided, another one had also never reported back.
2 Trade Routes Plundered
68 gold gained (24, 24, 20)

Dáin send his freshly built trade airships out to the regions closest to him, each carrying good valued and highly technological items of interested, selling them at a good and high price. The airships managed their routes without any trouble from anyone or anything, it's slightly new design has caused it to be smoother and quicker as well. A lot of wealth has been gained by the Blacklocks Cartel, a lot of wealth to ensure it's power within Borghildr.
No trade Routes Plundered
120 Gold gained (24,24,24,24,24)

Enedon send his magic infused elven hawks around Triesle in order to gain wealth from trading, the hawks were very fast and quick to deliver, but somehow 2 hawks mysteriously went missing, one went missing in Tol Ilu, Talvel's Province, as the other hawk had disappeared in Donar, no traces have been found from either hawks or the goods they were transporting. The other three hawks had successfully delivered their goods and came back with good wealth from the surrounding regions.
2 Trade Routes Plundered
64 gold gained (20, 20, 24)

Enedon's rival Talvel instead had send being of pure arcane magics, beautiful orbs hiding their containment within, sending them to Lentvaris and it's neighboring Donar region as well, however both of the orbs going to Donar had imploded in on themselves, dissolving their containment with it as well. Three other orbs had successfully made it to their destinations however, one of the orbs even made it to Lantea and back, bringing great riches from the Zaq'Kamarian depths.
2 Trade Routes Plundered
64 gold gained (20, 20, 24)

Stanislaw sent out missionaries together with horses and carts of goods to trade and sell across the region, his religious folk weren't welcomed everywhere, which was shown by the fact of them never turning up ever again, most likely killed and looted, one had been lost in Ealdowhin regions and one in Yagator.

The First Steps

The Colonists:

086_large.jpg

New found Duranas landscapes were an astonishing sight to the first who set foot.

Dáin had send his son Gimli Blacklocks on an air fleet together with 50 of his most well equipped mercenary troops, mainly composed of goblin and dwarven technologies and soldiers, to explore the continent of Duranas and settle upon it, their mission had been very successful with no losses of any kind, their base had been set up in Duranas in (Region B) shortly his cartel's exploits on the island will lead to great innovations and wealth!
No Troops lost
Region B Taken
50 Troops are now in Region B

Lord Arthas had the same idea with colonization as Dáin had, he send 80 of his most loyal armies to Duranas in order to settle new lands, they build camp on the nice mainland area of (Region C) taking it for themselves, soon most likely rivaling with Dáin's
colony for the power over Duranas.
No troops lost

Mainland Massacres:

Enedon's terrifying Hawk Archers raiding, killing, fighting and so on during the night.

Lord Enedon
has called for all of his mighty armies to attack his closest neighboring region to the west of him, his house had disputes with the lords of that area for decades, and in order to get rid of the disputes Enedon finally decided to put these matters into his own hands. The battle was a short but sweet one for Enedon, ending up victorious, making the armies flee from their positions, each running to other lords to follow. It was a glorious day for Enedon's elven army.

Sallos has shown his will for rising to power in Yagator by crushing his rivaling Chief, completely crushing his tribe and ravaging his lands, lots of lives had been lost however to vile magics, on both sides. In the end Sallos' loyal armies came out victorious however, Orc's cheering and yelling as loud as possible, the demons chanting and sacrificing enemies which had been captured.
Sallos lost 16 Legions
Region 16's Chief lost 50 Units, the remaining 50 fleeing to regions 20, 18, 15 and 14.
Region 16 has been taken over by Sallos' Legions
64 Legions are now in Region 16

Eluine has started a new offensive in Zaq'Kamar, unexpectedly striking the enemy, the surprise factor had caused mass chaos in the region, the enemies Legions quickly dispersing, fleeing, it's people in shock and terror. Her god seemed to be on her side however, as her armies remained largely untouched by the enemy. Was it the power of the gods on Eluine's side or great strategic skills?
Eluine lost no Legions
Region 58's Lord has lost 40 Legions, the remaining 60 swiftly swam towards Regions 55, 56 and 57.
Region 58 has been taken over by Eluine's Legions.
100 Legions are now in Region 58

Stanislaw wanted to spread his religious believes fiercely to his neighboring region by showing the power of his legions under god, their power greatly overpowering the petty lord trying to defend his lands, his legions crushed under the might. This day was a glorious day for the religious folks of Ealdowhin.
Stanislaw lost 10 Legions
Region 23's Lord lost 50 Legions, the remaining 50 looked for refuge in Regions 21 and 24

A Second Try

The Merchants of Mere

Naranbataar has greatly increased his wealth by investing into his trade company, his storage and trade goods greatly increased, thus meaning more goods to trade and more wealth to gain. Though a few lucky Borghildr Mercenaries found easy money in plundering his trade routes as well, taking the goods for themselves, leaving nothing for Naranbaatar's losses.

Sallos had sent his merchant through dangerous routes, hoping for great wealth by trade, some of these routes proved too dangerous however, a lot of plundering, pillaging and losses of his best merchants, though he still managed to turn a big profit with the ones who survived their long and hardy travels.

Stanislaw turned out being a careful business man, mostly focusing on the way of war in the past few months, which showed in his wealth. Because of all the warring going on as well, the roads were extra dangerous for those wanting to sell their goods, trade carts being plundered and set afire. Though enough still came through the warring lands to come back with some profit.

With Enedon trying to keep safety by traveling within Anikatos borders he hoped to amass good fortunes with safe outcomes, it did not go as planned however, a few X'tar rebels quickly got word through about some whispers about Enedon's dislike for the X'tarian people, as an answer they showed him what they were capable of, not showing any sign of backing down.

Lord Arthas has sent newer versions of his trade companions out to the fields once again to test their stability, most of them had done very well, reaching their destination and back, however with Stanislaw's men creating chaos within Ealdowhin Lord Arthas' trading wasn't welcomed everywhere, thus a few trade routes were taken for those in favour of the gods instead of metal.
4 Trade Routes Plundered

Naranbataar set his eyes on his neighbors lands, a nice coastal area, to be able to send his troops and trade even further than before. The battle was bloody, but with Naranbataar's gods on his side he has conquered the enemy, and their gods.

80 Legions are now in Region 39

Stanislaw has continued his sieges in Ealdowhin, attempting to convince his neighbors that his way is the way forward. Stanislaw has proven himself a worthy leader as well, winning battle after battle, though this has alarmed King Luther IV, he will no longer take this, he cannot allow sitting still, watching his lords and lands being taken under another banner.

Aleena sent an expedition to her newly found underseas territories in Duranas, however the newly discovered region wasn't as safe as it seemed at first. The expedition and the legions had seemingly disappeared into nothing, no word has come back from the expedition, and no traces have been found.
Aleena did NOT take over Region Y
10 Legions Lost in the Abyss

The Blacklock Cartel had successfully taken over their newest region in Duranas as well, just like Lord Arthas, their colony leader Gimli Blacklocks led a new party around the unexplored lands and successfully claimed it for the Cartel to do their business, apart from any other Cartel. With this they have also set up a good spot to set up a harbor of sorts for trading goods.
Dáin has taken over Region G
30 Troops now in Region G

Eluine has attempted to keep her conquest in Zaq'Kamarian land ongoing, however with the enemies number being too great her armies quickly got overwhelmed, though having lost the battle, her faith kept most of her soldiers safe. It is a sad day for the Octopii and Mosculan.

The Charge!
e1dCwSn.jpg

Naranbaatar sat on his horse over looking the field as his men prepared to attack. The eastern neighbors became complacent, growing fat off of their precious trade port. That port though would soon belong to Lentvaris. The city had no walls, they believed themselves safe from attack. All that stood in the way of the chieftain's conquest was a paltry militia force. They stood in random clusters, and had little armor, or discipline. They stood no chance of victory.

Naranbaatar showed his teeth in a wolfish grin as he raised his hand high into the sky, then quickly brought it down. Drums began to beat as the signal to charge was given. The Lentvaris horde surged forward, with the cavalry forming the front of it, as foot soldiers and archers jogged behind. The cavalry formed the bulk of the military, it fired volleys into the ranks of the enemy to weaken their defense. Then came the charge melee with a thunderous roar the horsemen crashed into the unorganized line and buckled it immediately.

As the foe began a mass rout from the sound strike Naraanbaatar ordered that the cavalry run down the cowards, while the foot soldiers took the city. Some fighting did continue in the city as cornered soldiers and civilians fought for survival. The city though was his but the chieftain had to make an example, to occupy would only involve dealing with unrest. To exterminate would only involve repopulating.

Within hours the entire city's population was halved as mass burn piles were formed in the middle of the streets and on the outskirts, to burn the victims' corpses. Naranbaatar himself walked into the city's temple and placed the symbol of the triumvirate above the shrines to proclaim the gods of this people were conquered by his as well.

Third time Lucky?

Trades of (Mis)Fortune

Naranbataar mostly send his trade envoys through the heart of Donar, whilst being relatively safe, it was not the most profitable route. Only one of his traders had succumb to an unfortunate accident, leaving the trade goods and the trader to be lost forever. The influence of trade with Naranbataar in the region is very noticable in the other Donarian regions as well, maybe soon Naranbataar's riches can outshine those of his enemies.
1 Trade Unit Lost
128 Gold Earned

Though Lord Enedon mostly stayed safely in Anikatos, the X'tar were still siding against him, taking nearly half of his traders down, taking the goods for themselves, maybe Lord Enedon might consider getting more friendly with the local X'tar, or send more guards in his merchant envoys...
3 Trade Units lost
88 Gold earned

Stanislaw's battles within Ealdowhin have finally slowed down, only to the fortune of the merchants wanting to trade their goods around the regions, though few Ealdowhin people still fought the traders, most safely got through and amassed wealth beyond imagination.
4 Units Lost
148 Gold earned

Alot of Aleena's trade turtles made their way into elven lands, their seemingly new trade partners, by now it was not an unusual sight to the elves, the Zaq'Kamarian trade goods were in great demand in Anikatos either way. Within Zaq'Kamar a few fights still occurred with local raiders however, the raiders quickly taking the goods for themselves.
3 trade Units Lost
148 Gold earned

Lord Arthas once again let fate decide by once again sending his tradebots, though most made it to their destination, barely any made it back, and Lord Arthas might soon have a merchant crisis, as he only has one working bot left. With this tragedy came little wealth as well. Though Lord Arthas' conquering in Duranas might gain him more trade goods for his future endeavors.

24 Gold earned

As Talvel came back from her short diplomatic trip she immediately got back to business, mostly trading within Anikatos, though also a bit with their Zaq'Kamarian and Donarian trade allies. However, those traveling to Donar had great misfortunes, the X'tar had learned about the trade agreement between Talvel and Naranbataar, and set foot against it, though Talvel has good relations with most of the X'tar, the X'tar are becoming more and more rebellious within Anikatos.

Improvement of Land

Lord Arthas continues his colonization in Duranas strongly, with the size of his influence reaching ridiculous heights he has jumped in ranks, the people new colonies will have to share their riches with Lord Arthas as to sustain his economy, which is great news for Lord Arthas, so he can increase his riches easily.

Stanislaw has also set foot in Duranas, however, without knowledge by either side, he got into conflict with Naranbataar. Naranbataar had made his way to Duranas and his people had settled, though a few weeks later Stanislaw with a great force rushed into the shore of Duranas. The battle wasn't too bloody after all, but the small Lentvaris settlement had quickly been taken over, leading to Naranbataar's troops retreating from Duranas.

Aleena did not give up, this time she send a new expedition to Duranas, a bigger one, a more successful one, this time being able to repent anything coming to them. It was finally an easy conquering for Aleena, a victory she needed.

Talvel has now set her sights on her pesky neighbors as well as Enedon, she attacked strongly, with few man, though took the enemy X'tar greatly by surprise, though this area also was composed of Elves the 70% X'tar population was not happy with their new conqueror, and will continue rebelling within Anikatos.

((endo i am quitting this game time pressures dont let me keep up anymore))

I have decided to put my game on hold for now, as there is seemingly no interest in the game, sorry for those playing, maybe we can continue this game sometime in the future!

I am sorry if it appears that I have no interest in the game. Sadly in general I haven't been that active in the boards lately, not just this game, due to me constantly feeling completely exhausted due to having to work.
