I just stole this map from DD:s site on M:TW, wonder if the Crusader kings map will be similar? In scope that is.. :D

Let's hope it's more accurate. Norman sicily owned byzantine italy, and, at a hunch, the caliphate was not unified in northern africa AND spain.
 
Except it goes a bit further south to cover more of the Arabia penninsula IIRC.
 
I believe CTW also begins in 1066, so Byzantium is a bit overstated, although they held bits of the heel and the toe until 1081 when the Norman fiends took Bari. I have no idea what the orange nation is, it's too early for the Almoravids. England prematurely has the Angevin lands.

Still, I'm looking forwards to that game too. Lots of fine-looking games in the offing - expansion for Stronghold, Empire Earth, Civ3 and above all HoI :) God bless Paradox.
 
The area covered looks about what was described for CK.

I hope yoiu don't have to conquer all provinces to win in CK.

What is that green blob southeast of Sicily? And sicily should not belong to Italy Iif that is what the green represents because it was Norman/Saracen in the late 11th century.

Oh well, CK will be better.:)
