As Stefan already revealed it, I think I can now also tell You, what it was. :)

We´re talking about the peace treaty bug. Johan told me the following: The routine checks stars first and discovers 'Hey, we can demand something!'. So it´s initiating the peace proposal. But there is a second step in between the initiation and the actual proposal, where the AI checks whether the war would be lost in the long run. And there was the quirk: When it came to think that the war would be lost in the long run, then it *completely* forgot the stars it already had gained and tried to get away with paying indemnities. Hence the offers despite the provinces won. The enemy always accepts such a proposal, of course.
Now the AI doesn´t forget anymore about it´s conquests. :)

I've been playing this game since december and I think it's very good now with the patch 1.07c. But the most serious problem right know , for me, is that there is really no problem for me to play aggressive. Right now, i'm playing Russia and I have a high badboy-value. But when everybody decares war on me, I always get a white-peace with the alliance leader immediatly after the war declaration. Does anyone else have this problem? I have noticed that it's only the leader that will accept peace so easy, not the other members. Will this be taken care of in a new patch?
Regards,
Thomas

So both the likelihood to have alliance leaders fighting the badboy offer/accept white peace AND the problem with the offering of indemnities when a nation is winning are BOTH fixed in the next patch? Y'all are amazing!

In fact I searched out this post to offer to send another saved game containing the situation where a small nation is winning a war, yet it gave Spain 250 gold. Can't wait for the next patch!!

Erm, does that mean the swiss cheese is fixed as well? Or is it just the lose war/win peace treaty bug?

The swiss cheese bug was fixed long ago. But, of course, there are still peace treaties, where a nation gets a province not connected to the homeland. This is due to wealth of province and what the looser is actually willing to give away. But in the former beta yndenwal mentioned, the AI actually *asked* for provinces far away whenever possible...

Yes, sorry to have confused you with this swiss-cheese bug that happened during beta-tests a loooong time ago.

My point was just to mention haw a very simple thing can mess up the system (go find ONE ' - ' in the whole program's code !)
