If the harvesting speed differs and some plants effectively grant more XP, that's something for experienced minmaxers to toy with.
It's nothing that makes or breaks your plan as a regular player. =)
This is exactly the kind of stuff I would want to see on the chart. I love to see and study this kind of things in games. don’t hide it from me.
;)

I'd rather wrap it into the tooltip description of things. (without actual numbers)

Some extra hints for players who do dig deeper.

That way it's not a hidden feature but additional game depth.

Not so sure I would agree with "hidden" statistics. Maybe not at your fingertips - sure. But you should be able to find the info somewhere in the game with a click or something.
I would prefer the more important stats instantly available (in tool-tips). Secondary type stats in places like item description found in the Build Menu. And then ALL stats found for all items in a chart so you can see everything all at one time to make side-by-side comparisons. Obviously, this chart would have to be brought up by some sort of other option from someplace else.
I agree there. This should be in-game somewhere. For someone new (like me), if I see a piece of furniture with one happy face that costs 10 wood, and another with one happy face that costs 15 wood, I'll go for the 10 wood. If there are some other numbers that make it better somehow, it should be clearly visible (clicking on a ? info button for the item for example). A strategy game is all about informed decisions, and I shouldn't have to open a wikipedia page out-of-game to make those informed decisions.
