The new patch broke my game...

So I realize that there's a patch today and I think "Good. They finally fixed some stuff." It took me a while to download because my internet provider is a piece of shit (not Paradox's fault btw). So then I finally get it downloaded and in-game and all of a sudden, I see that my game is running at LESS THAN 5 FRAMES PER SECOND. This is absolutely unacceptable especially considering my game was running at about 30 FPS before the patch on my new-ish Xbox One S. If this is what Paradox wants to put out on consoles then I want a refund because I've spent $70 on this game (base game and season pass) and it's essentially broken. Unfucking believable.

Please try this:

- uninstall the game from the XBox

- clear the XBox cache and game files (save game data)

Andrew, there is a difference between game play speed and frame rate issues. He is talking about FPS, not the speed at which the game plays.

God help us with this game.

Most likely the low fps is an effect of the game running too fast for the hardware. But I thought it was worth clearing the cache etc, given that others have not mentioned that problem AFAICS.

If what you’re saying is true then your essentially admitting no one can run the game at 3x speed because any game speed other than normal speed is too fast for an xBox’s hardware to process.

I would say it’s due to a corrupt patch download and install, but your recommendation to reinstall is still correct.
