looks good, but I thought the sub org would be re-worked? Even US subs have only 8 org, I ain't risking them in battle. Also, Albania has no military, so how can they defeat their rebels? Played a month in and they've been conquered by that 1 militia div near Tirana, that'll make for a very awkward Bosnian war...

Can't wait to get home and try it out!

But I've must have missed alpha version 0.1...

Some questions tough:

- How is it with leaders and ministers? Must be hell of a lot to research.
- Are there events covering modern situations. i.e. WTC?

I will surely come with more questions to cure my curioisty before i can play it. have patience with me! :D

I think that subs' org must in 3..6 range. In that case they work as subs should, in a proper way. In this version they try not to sink down so fast, I hope? (defense was upped a lot)

As in real life (...as i think!), in this mod Albania is place of guerillas. That is all right. What about Bosnia war? TNW has not any Bosnia war...

Thats true,Bosnian war was earlier, and Bosnia has no borders with Albania. What you probably meant was Macedonian conflict,in 2001

I have created random leaders for ALL countries. It means, that countries have normal leaders, but with no-face picture and random (national language) name. Meduim skill value and medium number of traits for each country were discussed and set into generator  So, it's quite good way, and also - we don't know who will be outstanding general after 2010 ;)
I accept - this is a non-standard approach. But still.

Minister... Mmm... That is really hell. I working with them. Some countries already have ministers. BTW, if I create ministers for grand or major country, i create ALL necessary ministers - from communists to facists. For all future possible situations in game.

This mod have a special concept of events. At this moment larger part of events are simple random (+ triggers of techs, politics, situation, etc.) I am going to work in event direction by difficult way. I want events to be dynamic, not so linear like in vanilla or other mods. Look at CK, EU3. Plots should be different from game to game (of couse, not SO VERY variable, but still). I want to create wide way of a-historic events. Hope beta will have many such events for Russia. (something like Mod33, but wiser).

Have i answered? Is my text understandable? ;)

what I meant was Kosovo guerillas could link up w/ Albanian ones and maintain control of that country since Bosnia can only retake Kosovo, would seem weird. I was just wondering about the subs since in regular hoi2 they can get up to like 80 org yet can still easily be taken out by carriers (have lost supper stacks under Doenitz in my GC as germany to attest to that). Need any more minister info? I thought you were just going to cut/paste them from MDS2

I can't understand what you can't understand... Ok, what would you like to see? Note, I want Albany to be place of guerillas

Don't you see subs organization in many other mods? I may be uncorrect, but HSR, CORE, TRP, Epsilon, etc. have subs with low organization. In that case subs fight only few hours and retreat after. During retreationg we regenerate their org.

No, I don't need ministers info right now, currectly working with them (will need your help soon). But i don't simply copy-paste ministers from MDS:
1. there are too few ministers there (i need all spectrum of ideologies),
2. they have not ministers before 2003,
3. sometimes i try to rebalance ministers.

Ok, so i placed your mod in its own directory inside my DD folder, I'm patched to 1.3a and all mind you. I created my own shortcut, applied the patch, but i get teh old " pleas install the latest milestone" when I try to run it. Any ideas?

Im just saying give Albania 1 div so they have a chance to win like Georgia/Armenia. My dad was a submariner in the US navy so obviously I'm a bit biased towards the US sub fleet, since when I was in the navy that's what I wanted to do. Wouldn't look good if a $2 billion Virginia class sub got sunk by a $1 million Korean corvette...

Hmmm... I never tried TNW to use with "mod-dir". I directly unpack mod into game folder. You did the same? Have you patched you DD version before unzip mod into game folder?

So in this version SS again uber-week? Strange, I don't metioned killed SS by frigates. But no way - too rapid death is not because of low org. Maybe you stack you underwater fleet with other ships (on-water) and so SS are used as "aim meat"?

A thing for the USA: I don't think that it is realistic to make Al Gore Head of Government. The US president is both, Head of State and Head of Government. The vice president is only a reserve.
I don't make ministers for USA, it was the rare case, then i was helped. I may make Clinton to be also the head of government. But i won't do any special for ALL heads of government and state to be the same person ALWAYS. OK? (situations could be different... Maybe next leader of USA will be general secretary of commy party :D )

well in original Hoi2 the US pres. is COS while VP is head of government, so I think he was just following the pattern, even though you are correct in that the president is both COS & head of government

I used version .01 like that and it worked. But this time it appears not. I am patched up all the way, that I'm sure of as I jsut did a clean install before I tried it, and patched up following. Looks like a promising mod though, just hope I get to try it myself.
