Nitrate, I'm thinking that King Arnfast the Omnipotent would be good, mainly since you managed to consolidate all of the power to yourself. Although I suppose that the Impotent would be a proper surname as well, although this time only in the reproductive context... :D

King Arnfast the mender

He mended the kingdom and made it stronger

About ideas how to decide how long to play in the other games, what about a decade each? January first the next decade we switch player. That will perhaps be best in vicki. In Europe universalis we could perhaps use the rulers as in ck, and in HOI we could go for 2 years of playing time. Or perhaps only one year?

Brings up a good point, since we will have to start thinking about that eventually. I suppose it all depends on the government dynamics that occur during the course of EU2. EU2, of course, can continue in the fashion that we have established: 1 ruler, 1 player. For Ricky, if our country has free elections then we can just run on the election cycle; in order to find a proper middle ground for length of play we can establish American term limits, i.e. if a party is reelected for a 2nd term, the player may continue until the next election, leaving each player with a maximum play time of 2 election cycles (on average this will be 8 years) and will provide a deterrent to constantly calling for elections in hopes of establishing a more favorable party. If your party loses the election after only 1 term, however, so be it; if your party is gone, so are you. For the purposes of this scenario "your party" will be the party you begin with, much as "your ruler" here is the ruler you begin with.

If the great state of Sweden ends up as a monarchy or dictatorship, however, then we will have to rethink things. 10 years is a rather arbitrary number and seems low historically. However, in the absence of any better alternatives, I'm for it.

1-2 years seems pretty reasonable for HOI2. I'm willing to leave that open for debate, given that we have quite some time until that happens. We'll have to survive 800 years of history before then and, given our dynasty's tendency of producing bastard children, we can't take that for granted.

One last point: should we consider moving this thread to other boards during the natural progression from game to game? No doubt we'll have quite a few more volunteers on EU2 and Vicky boards. That being said, I do think that, at the very least, we should start over and run through the player list again upon the successful conclusion of each export. Again, open for debate. We have plenty of time to decide.

Of course we should. Not long ago people made an MP AAR covering the same time period as ours, and they kept threads both in the EU2 and CK forums. They should be playing the game at EU2 because I didn't see a Vicky thread yet.

And yes, people could leave and enter at will, but they should at least be firm and clear on their decisions to avoid confusion. That's all.

By the way, to convert to EU2, we should use everything but the Paradox Converter inside the game. There is a "Superior Converter" in the mods session that can do the job better.

well only the players do AAR, but u can sign up to play one of the generations.

well then greenmarine is after oggbogg unless brons schedule clears up, are u familiar with the rules green?

GreenMarine and klas_knas, welcome aboard. I've updated the list at the beginning of this thread. PM your email to the person before you and you'll be set when your turn comes around.

A MP game covering 900 years?! Wow. That's all I can say.

Wildo on the superior converter. When the time draws near, I'd appreciate it if someone could link the download site for us so we can all be on the same page when it's time to export. Also, does anyone know of an up-to-date exporter to Vicky? I've heard that Havard created one sometime back but it hasn't been updated in a while and there's some doubt as to whether it will work with EU2 1.09.

so was my final title omnipotent or impotent?
