We're starting over, so let's go through one more time :)

China is entirely possible if the game is built with it from the ground up, Hellenism was dead as a doornail even in the earliest startdate, Theocracies should be playable as an offshoot of feudalism (with scions put into hierarchical positions within the Church), and naval combat, like China, should be planned for from the start.

This. Especially the ones not China. China would be grand, but I'd much rather take theocracies and naval combat.

Good question. Rank China, Theocracies, Naval Combat and Hellenics in the order of what you most want to see in CK3.

1. China
2. Naval Combat
3. Hellenic religion
4. Theocracies

How about Japan/Korea? The world does not end with China.

The most important new features this game could possibly have are global market, industrialization, railroads, social and political upheaval, popular revolutions, colonialism, great power politics and of course the 19th century start date.

In fact the older start dates unnecessarily bloat the game and can be removed.

China and India are too much, the game should end at Persia. The game should not have less content than CK2, and should DEFINITIELY not have less QoL then CK2 (looking at you, Imperator). If you can't think up a good way to implement pagans and tribalism in CK3, import it directly from CK2.
And also, CK2 was made excellent by the decision to have multiple start dates. The 1066 date for CK2 is great, but it is by no means the most interesting of the dates to start from, and the late-addition of Iron Century means there are still people interested in doing this.

Hahah, what are you smoking? :D

There is literally no game that paradox releases that wouldn't be improved by a pop system, but CK3 will not have a pop system, and I'm fine with that, because I don't trust the developers of Imperator: Rome to make a game that looks as good as Rome does and is also fun to play.

I agree entirely, a simple pop system like in the DEI mod for Rome 2 (a mix of Vic 2 and Imperator essentially) would be hugely beneficial IMO. From screenshots, there does seem to be a cursory 'development' system for baronies, but I will await some dev diaries on the matter before casting judgment

We should refrain from making this kind of requests before we've seen any gameplay videos. We have no idea what kind of things we'll feel are missing in this game.

They didn't even finish giving CK2 Hellenism the features they promised in it's dev diary. No way will they even bother adding it in the sequel if they just can't be bothered to that extent.

It's still better to have Hellenism ported from CK2 as it is than nothing at all, in my opinion.
Maybe so but it's never gonna happen. They're gonna strip out as much of the stuff that's been added over the years as they can possibly get away with so they can re-add it in expansions again. Expect a Hellenism expansion in maybe five years if you're lucky!
