Curious what religious icon is that. Not sure I recognized it. It is not Catholic from the looks of it. But i cant tell what it is.
Are you using any graphics mods ?. Just curious

No, it's a vanilla ironman game.
But yeah, what AlanerPolska said. Only difference is that my empire is actually Messalian (Nestorian heresy), which i lead to become the mainstream religion. Playing them is actually pretty weird since you get to be both christian and incestuous like the zoroastrians. Truly an Unholy Roman Empire.

Even more. Francia was ally of Byz at the time of war.

I has pressed claim of my wife on Byzantine Empire. Third time in a row. Two first tries was my sisters (aunts of current character). They both lose revolts their titles. So I (previous one) married a heir on ones daughter and now repeated process again. This end not well. New empress peacefully abdicated in two months and returned to my court. Now my sons has her claim but I will wait before one of them inherit my empire first.

About war of Dance of Dragons. And the beginning Aztecs boldly occupied half of Africa but eventually Mongols crush them utterly. 10k Aztecs left after this war, so I call for Great Holy Wars on Andalusia and easily got it. At this time no Aztecs left at all.
