Thanks @Unready , now it is easier to see why your screenshots belong in this thread. Not sure what the connections are between your ruler and the child that died (besides the marriages you mentioned) but his loss is your gain.

Have to agree with @Gundabadguy . That's quite the empire you have going! Tibet as superpower.

Not completely sure why my character got the titles but not his living father, maybe some of elective gavelkind succession magic.

And what so special in Tibet? Actually quite good place to start to play.

Got a notification that some distant relative died. Not a commander of mine, don't have to find new one, carry on.
Don't remember why I checked who killed him, probably didn't read notice yet, and was checking if he was plot assasinated.
Turns out, he was killed by a zombie..

In other news, christianity is not doing great despite high moral auhority(and not because of player interference). Had a long rant here but it'd be more fitting for AAR which I won't be writing.
Let's just have a funny pic.

I want to know why a Hungarian dude is in charge of Bihar but at the same time something tells me I don’t want to know.

The craziest thing that’s ever happened in my games is Christians taking over Mecca and Medina (which were retaken easily afterwards).

That's actually quite common thing in the game. I would explain this as - both warriors killed each other in one battle, but their bodies were found several days later. Which explan difference in date.

As good catholic commander of Teutonics should return Rome to pope next day.

Yes, I agree with this explanation. Or a bug. Or both. Like @Unready , seen this before and not uncommon.

Glitterhoof joins the Varangian Guards! I am officially jealous. I can only hope this happens in my current play-through!
It's possible the previous Varangian Guard commander was a lunatic, and got the Glitterhoof event, and Glitterhoof subsequently accumulated enough prestige to become the successor. (OP is the Slavic Union, so he's probably not Germanic or Norse/Nordic, so he and his realm are probably not sending new recruits to the Varangians on a regular basis, even though new merc commanders adopt the culture and religion of the title, ie. this Glitterhoof may not have originally been Norse or Orthodox, but it still seems more likely than not that this Glitterhoof originated within the Varangians rather than outside.)

If new horses arrived at age 16 - your theory are quite believable.

I think Glitterhoof is created at age 16 (the game's hardcoded age of adulthood). But it's very unusual for him to live more than 10 years - living to 59 seems like some kind of record!

The name, the moustache, the helmet, and an Adventurer - this is like finding an ancient Marvel superhero easter egg inside CK2.

Sure, you've seen that moustache before, and the helmet, and Adventurers - but this is the rare combination where the "Sum of the Parts" comes together in rare form. In years of playing CK2, I had never seen this facial combination along with that moustache and helmet, plus stones in pic background. He's like Iron Man when that's all they had - was Iron. Or give him a special shield with that spectacular Eagle Crest on it, and let's name him "Captain Bavaria" or something.

Even his Family insignia is cool - plain white background with the green lightning bolt.

I guess their lifespan is yet the same as a normal person's.
Just caught another data point - scroll right and look at oldest Glitterhoof attributes, that one is demon possessed! And Orthodox although I don't think that's helping since vodka would be consumed like water.
