So, what's the greatest number of times you've seen someone get their title revoked and re-granted?

I could imagine someone doing it with a heretic character. Revoke heretic's county to land a title claimant -> press title claimant's claim in war (or have him inherit through assassinations) -> plot to revoke county from title claimant -> give county back to heretic to avoid going over demense limit -> sometime later, invite another title claimant to your court -> repeat.

Say hello to King William "the Bastard" of France.

Never seen this happen, ever. After failing to get England he had to take over SOME Kingdom!

Yeah, I've also just had a William I of France take over. Not just that, the throne actually stayed with them for two generations before the lords of France got tired with the Norman usurpers and booted them out.

Also, dat randomly generated dynasty shield. <.< Makes me wanna spoon my eyes out.

...and if you look at it closely, you'll also notice that it resembles much more WW2 than Middle Ages.

I killed the old doge in personal combat which glitched the game I think and made the female the heir of the republic of amalfi. Mod is The prince and the thane.

For some reason, patricians are agnatic-cognatic seniority in TPatT. I've had several female Doges in my current game as Sicily-Italy-Rome.

His Augustanness Roman Emperor Michele IX of House Morosini went to tumble the countess of Artois, but couldn't believe his eyes/ears when...

So what if I'm 65, I don't feel a day over 50, and you'll never find a man with bigger "prestige". Besides, at 39 you ain't no spring chicken yourself, you fat-kidneyed flax-wench!

Hurt feelings aside, I didn't even know it was possible to reject these lordly advances...

Not sure how they got their hands on the HRE title... Conquest seems most likely, but I'm not sure if there's a CB that would give them the entire HRE all at once - they've long since converted to Nestorianism. They did have Gavelkind succession, so the HRE reappeared once the Khagan snuffed it.

Naturally, having a Mongol heretic snot-nosed brat (7 years old, I think) as a ruler means the factions probably formed the second the old Khagan died, and when I next checked, this was the case:

Did someone order Balkanisation on anything east of the line Calais-Milan? (Give or take a bit).

That's the Galician branch of the Jimena's that I (Navarra) kicked out of the Iberian peninsula around 1250. Them having Brittany and a couple of generations worth of allies with an insane France (30 % of Spain was theirs between 1125-1200) made getting rid of them a slow thing. They then got their hands on the Kingdom of Mali around 1320 and reconquered Brittany.

Truth be told I've helped them keep it a few times on alliance calls - it's too amusing not to.

Galicia seems to be conquering strange places. In one of my playthrough it goes to Ireland and in another it goes to Brittany and in none of my playthroughs it gets more then its de jure on the Iberian Peninsula...

It just sounds like the AI is getting into the "let's conquer all the places that have ever been inhabited by Celts" fad that human players often like.
