No idea how this happened. Especially since I was almost sure that Nestorianism was wiped off the map centuries ago.

At least it's historical.

The event doesn't actually require any Nestorian provinces to trigger.

Caliph Al-Muqtadi suggested to Caliph Al-Muqtadi that Caliph Al-Muqtadi should be Caliph Al-Muqtadi's new Chief Qadi and waited with bated breath before Caliph Al-Muqtadi dismissed Caliph Al-Muqtadi's suggestion.

This is the de Mauléon dynasty, or lack thereof. I am Otto IV, Holy Roman and Iberian Emperor. I have seven children, six daughters, and a single son. The Count of Tours, the dead Robin you see there, murdered my sixth daughter, Klara. Klara was essentially my favourite daughter, an imbecile, weak girl with a stutter. I had her take the vows so I could look after her. In my RP it was one of the most beautiful relationships i'd seen.

Then Robin de Mauléon murdered her, for no reason. She wasn't heir to anything, I assume he did it to be a 'big man'. So was I did in return was take the 32 de Mauléon left, and murder them. As you can see I got caught a few times, but I made my point. I left Ida there alive at age 64 as the last de Mauléon, to watch her family die out. CKII has made me a monster. But they murdered my special daughter, and they paid the price.

This game has driven everyone insane

This is fucked up,

I vassalised Hungary and was expanding a bit,

The Knight's templars won a crusade for andalusia (fek spelling right) and after that got vassalised by the kingdom of jerusalem, which I vassalised after saving their arses from a jihad.

After that KoJ invaded france and won.

Surprise Alania inheritance.

Got to love new Ruler lulls. Being dragged into a war with my new Father-in-Law pretty much limits my options for the time being (namely my traditional "Travel to the Holy Land" pilgrimage that everyone since the first Earl Genn of Connacht has undertook), so I decide to look around the map a bit.

In the far east, it looks like Rajputana has decided the time is now to blob.

(Also them Seljuk...can't catch a break. Get a nice little empire...lose it. Get it back...lose it again.)

And in the far south...Timbuk-tu?

And it has no banner.

And is a Emirate.

It's just Timbuktu's CoA, it's all-black. It's on my list of future custom empires to create. The Black Empire!

I think they're a few decades too late...

This event never shows the boy in question, it shows the ruler on whose territory the Shia revolt happens. That is kinda weird, but it's been like that since forever.

2,500 hours into this game, first time I see this finally fire.

Once I started a Latin Empire game in the Latin Empire bookmark. Got hit by The Shepherds' Crusade TWO WEEKS after the start of the game, with soldiers quadruple the amount I had.

I had it as bloody JERUSALEM in 1099 start, not many years into the game. That was soon after SoA was released, I thought it was unfair that the bastion of Christianity in the Holy Land gets hit with a 30k man crusade.

Not sure how it works now but IMO it should only fire when a Crusade ends in failure, and fire for the ruler that was the leading participant. Not only for a random realm, particularly a bloody crusader state.
