Edit:
Also, 2 Kirghizes. Both purple. Both without sense.

Were Crusades already triggered or was the cause actually a Jewish King of Lotharingia?
They triggered because of his ascension to the throne. I wouldn't even notice him if not for his triggering of a Crusade.

Edit: Oh, the irony...

This is my first encounter with the Mongols. They subjugated the Seljuks and turned Islamic which I though was pretty cool because I heard that usually the Mongols just sit there doing nothing.

About a decade later, after I barely kick the Aztecs back into the sea. I get the double Jihad whammy. I lost 100,000+ troops in the last war and I accidentally occured -400 tryranny. This is the end of the two century long reign of Christian Jerusalem...

This is the closest I've ever come to a WWI in CK2.

That was caused by the delightful lack of Matrialinneal Marriages. His mother decided that she HAD to get married, after refusing to marry anyone regularily. Because she was AI, she procceeded to regularily marry some Jewish guy, and failed too convert the resulting kid. I have seen this with the Byzantines before, but it was a Muslim then.
5 seconds later.... Crusade for Greece.

30 years later.......

CRUSADE FOR LOTHARINGIA!!
