for all those asking for atheism, it's already in the game:

:p

Rofl, damn you PI! I want family values in my video games!

That bit about the doge made me cry though....just hilarious.

This is a semantics argument that could last until the end of days and isn't really relevant to this thread.

It is perfectly relevant to the thread in the sense that it is discussion about a pic that was posted here concerning atheism. I'd imagine that if someone posted a pic concerning some particular culture and someone replied, incorrectly, that it should be called some other culture that plenty of people would call that person out on it. That's all I did. This isn't a semantics argument either. The definitions for theism and atheism have been well established for hundreds of years and in philosophy there is no debate about what an atheist is. This is merely a mistake that is often made among laymen because they know that "atheist" and "theist" are two different things and so they infer that "agnostic" is some third thing, never realizing that it's a term that can describe a theist or an atheist.

Almost as beautiful as that Scottish Babylonia.

Not a particularly strange screenshot, but a little fun with latin: the "wisdom" of the hermit translates to a phrase that sounds like "always wear underwear everywhere". Someone at Paradox knows their classics.

i was hoping for something more serious in the hermit chain, hermits are often seen as very wise (or also very foolish, though sometimes fake foolery)

for instance, the crusaders in the first crusade, when getting to jerusaslem, asked a local hermit when they would take the city. He said they would take it that night, so they actually tired but they failed (anti-climactic reality! curse you!)

Wow... This Golden Horde thing is pure madness... They've just arrived in my game, and I really wonder how it's going to be.

In my current game, a few pictures taken here and there:

To start with, let's mourne together the extinction of the Gr... er... well, not so Great House of er... oh well, who cares about a courtier anyway.

As a magnanimous King, I try to always release the enemies I captured during a fight, though sometimes trying to get some money out of it. Sometimes their liege doesn't want them back because they have no money, sometimes because they a re "too unimportant", and sometimes... well, I wasn't expecting that:

Keep him! He's an arsehole!

And to finish this: let's admire together the originality of the AI when it goes to naming children. these guys are twin.

Well done.

hahahahaha

imbecile twins too.

the twin thing hits home for me, because i am a twin.

That father/mother will have a hell of a time raising them, with the same name. There already is confusion enough with twins! My parents could not tell which one was which, we had to tell them which one we were.
