I'm actually a heresy, so I've been rapidly expanding into the HRE/Scandinavia for the past 100 years or so. The Ilkhanate appearing in Hungary is actually really nice, now it will be a lot easier to add them to my empire. I didn't want to deal with taking it off the ERE and removing orthodox vassals.

I think that event is in vanilla though. I've seen it elsewhere.
Some interesting development here. YAY, for Bulgaria. The Byzantine Empire fell because of jihad. No one was holding hungarian crown last 50 years. Sicily is ruled by Croatian Trpimirovič dynasty. I am using CK2+.
Western Europe. England is theocracy, I am not sure when it happened, propably shortly after game start (1066). I had no time to watch. I had massive rebellions during those times, even lost crown for 15 years, then got it back during another rebellion. I was not playing CK2 in last 4 months, did not play LoR before and I really underestimated those factions.
