So, i dont know if it qualifies as strange but its the first time i have seen this by the AI, on a spectator game:

oh....

Basically that little yafarid kingdom you see? that insignificant spec of yellow?, well 200 years ago, they dominated spain, france, germany and italy, but then civil war and decadence happened. But not before destroying Christendom. Also the viking conquered england, and saxony used to rule all of germany before the muslim came.

Also the byzantines are hindu, dont even ask me how that happened, no idea.

I would like to know how Bohemia got to Kola...

I would like to know how Bohemia got to Kola...

Bohemia is pagan in 769 start, so probably inherited the title before losing everything in actual Bohemia, then no one as been able to usurp the title since then, as the area seem to have been in a border gore fest, as France, Sweden, and some unknown Hindu are where Bohemia should be. =p

Crusader kings is one wierd game:)

From the religion map the de jure king of Bohemia is Slavic.

Look again, se how Kola, which is Slavic and under Bohemia has the red slashes over it? Just compare it to other slavic provinces.

So in my last few games starting in 1066 Harald Hardrada would always win the English throne, and I mean always. I was pleasantly surprised when Billy managed it this time around, and figured there might now be a chance for the history of Britain to proceed with some semblance of normality.

Well, about that...

I hate to judge people's looks, but that fella does not strike me as so very Anglo-Saxon upon first viewing. Also, he's an Orthodox Christian? Naturally I look at his family tree, and find out that this is his dad:

And the King of England is set to inherit this as well, as you may have guessed. But how on earth did this happen? According to England's history, our Pecheneg Orthodox king inherited his realm from Billy's son Richard. Behold:

Screenshot (3).png

It seems Billy's first son Robert died early and Richard inherited. William and Cecilia also died prematurely. The Pecheneg guy is William's grandson through his daughter Cecilia. But why didn't Richard's son Sayer inherit? It seems Sayer was conceived before the succession but was born after, an awful bit of timing that enabled this dismal state of affairs.

Not something I've actually seen (or noticed at least) in over a thousand hours of playing CK2, mainly from the Charli start as well. I've been playing Yabguid with the intention of eventually doing an Ottoman, currently just had Sabutkin and Seljuk spawn out of my territories (Seljuk managing to carve himself out the Duchy of Merv from my vassal Sultan of Khorasan/Transxiona). So i've not really looked at Europe all that much, beside to laugh at the Ummyads already having been near completly pushed out of Iberia and the total overun of Britain by the vikings...which i've also not seen in a long time. England, united and near fully Viking, Ireland fully viking and Scotland fully viking. Reformed norse jihads for the win hahah. But yeah just noticed France has been a theocracy for the past fourty years.

Maybe its weird, maybe its not. But a Crusading pope who was wicked was put on trial.

My guess is that even though he was a Crusader, his wickedness was not something to let go. I'm using the HIP mod :)

It’s an vanilla event and what they did to the Pope Formosus.

Maybe they are blaming him for a bad Crusade
I don't think so, Since the Crusade that he was on was a victory.
I just found it weird that he was in charge of an crusade ( that won) and they did that.

yeah I know. But its just a bit weird to me that they would do that to a pope who won a crusade for Christendom.
( I know it was fired because of the wicked trait,)

Playing my HIP game and i get the notification that my favorite court Chaplin died. I go and check what he died of. But apparently, nobody knows .

@LordDamien

I wouldn't be surprised if it was satanist cult killing random bishop event. Or something else like that.
