A homosexual bear... as in a "bear"... Too many bad jokes...

I dunno if this is strange enough, but, year 912. The three indian Empires have formed, and strangely enough, they now hold their exact de-jure territory. I've never seen this happening before, but since I started on the 769, it kinda makes sense. Originally they were two, because the Chauhan overtrowed the Pratihara and ended up conquering the Pala, but at some point (probably around the 880, while I was busy dealing with the Karlings) the Pratihara revolted, and pushed the Chauhan to the east. The Pallava conquered the Rashtakutra and stayed more or less stable.

There was a feeble attempt of the Abbasids on Sindh around 820 or so, but the Chauhan made quick work of them. The big purple blob is the easternmost part of my Byzantine Empire, while at south you can see the Abbasid rump state. I find extremely odd that the frontier look so...clean. I mean, they're way too similar to the de-jure empires (except for Europe and the unseen part of Central Asia, that's a mess, as always). I also have a clean frontier between my Persian exarcates and the Pratihara (albeit i'd rather have it on the Indus, fullfiling the Alexandrine reconquest. but that'll mess up my de-jure territory).

Let see how long those pretty borders survive :'v

I presume you won an invasion of china and your wife was the random family member selected to lead china?

Can you even ransom? Just out of curiosity since her ducat amount is "?".

I have selected her deliberately as claimant for China. She was favored-force betrothed with me when my character was 3.
So the idea to move her out was from beginning. :)
The problem was what Chinese forces quickly marched to my capital and sieged it.
The only valuables they got - old dusty tome of no value and my wife as prisoner (although it cost me -50% of warscore).
I had to kill them all to get more than 50% of warscore.
And when it happened she became an Empress of China and prisoner of herself.
No diplomatic menu at all so no ransom.
I even went to kowtow to see her as Empress.
Sixteen years later she is still prisoner of herself.
And many random children which is not mine.

So I've got 3 concubines. :)

Odd. Since she has children I assume that she is not a prisoner of the palace eunuchs in China like so many puppet emperors lol.
Do her children have any fathers listed? If not are they just immaculately conceived bastards?

There are no fathers at all.
Also if you look closer two oldest daughters is older then only bastard daughter she had before China. :)

The extra children are probably from various rulers arranging a royal marriage with China. That generates a new adult character who is then set by script to be the child of the emperor of China.

That "prisoner of herself" scenario is a new level of weird even for CKII standards!:rolleyes:

As for the kids, yes they probably are generated for the marriages. But I think that happens for free male emperors too. I don't remember any kind of spouse ever being listed. They must depend an all those concubines!:p Even the women emperors have (male) hareems because I do remember sending one of my younger brothers to an empress once (he was definitely sent as a concubine and not a eunuch).

In a way, we're all, like, prisoners of ourselves maaaan.

And in the end too. :)

And her realm was inherited by newly created son much older than any other her children. :)

And to final look - She continued produced new children even after her death :)

For clarification: I found these children as perfect opportunity to distribute newly conquered titles (they has my culture, religion, dynasty and a good attributes)

Noticed also change of her age after death. :)

I've played a few games but this has never happened. I don't think this is supposed to happen.

Count the Reformed Pagans. None of them was my doing, I started and stayed Catholic.
