A call to arms from my friends Poland! Its not fitting in the screen unfortunatly, and i dont accept conditions i cannot fully read, so sorry. :(
Btw i had to ally France to break their stupid alliance with the Ottos they took right from the start. Ottos helped France against England but i couldnt really benefit from it beside having lots of time for Byz.

What the hell happened?

It does not ends here.
It continues with Muscovy entering as a great power on the Ottoman side :

Then in the middle of this mess, Athens declares war on Latin Empire for its independence with Naples :

Byzantine provinces were besieged by Napolitan armies so Latin Empire white peace with the Ottomans, and Athens won its independence war. All of this just for that result :

In the meantime, Brittany inherited Burgundy, and Nubia was formed.
At the end of the day, The Ottomans easily annexed both Athens and Latin Empire. Thanks to christian things all over again. It was as painfull to see this happens as it was to learn about the 4th Crusade.

Strange game where Austria, which quickly lost the imperial title to the benefit of the Palatinate, remains a faithful ally of Prussia. Is it because the Von Habsburgs have disappeared? It should be noted that Austria is here ruled by the English dyansty of the Butlers, whose heir will take charge after the regency ensured by his Albanian mother.

And a France that is enemy of the whole world.

eu4_4.png

Enemies are Saxony, Trier, Mexico, Anhalt, Bavaria, Stettin, Jenné, Jolof, Khmer, Brunswick and Liege. I've never seen so many enemies of a single nation, and not such a diverse cohort.

Particularly notable is the enmity of Liege, whose independence France is guaranteeing.

Sure buddy, I think it is a great idea to embargo myself.

I guess it is because I am hated by them and own much of the trade, but I think it should not be an option to ask the Emperor to embargo the Emperor

That's a typo or ssomething like that, it's been there since the introduction of imperial incidents. I thought this error was only there when playing teh game in French, but it seems not.

This screen impression sums up all the stupidity of the programming of the North American zone by Paradox, which allowed native Americans to communicate from the 16th century over thousands of kilometers of distance in order to repel the British threat.

To be fair, he had average claim strength. It could be worse, he could have had weak claim strength. Always look on the bright side! :D
It could be worse, he could have had STRONG claim strength! When the claim strength is low, at least the pretender might offer better stats.

How, in the name of all trade deities, did Ulm get their merchant into Burma, and WHY?

I checked, it's your standard vanilla land-locked Ulm, they didn't do any expanding.

The only maybe-plausible reason is that they're transferring trade power AND steering trade to Italy, which is my rival. But Italy is not even embargoing me. But that's the only thing I can think of that has at least some tenuous connection to me (owning all of Burma trade node).
