The only thing I want to do is be able to change the start date on the game. Could someone please tell me a proven way to do this? Or link a edit program so I can go in and change the date from 1936 to...say...1926 or so? Thanks....

edit the following lines accordingly:

I tried that and it gave me an error message (when I tried to open the file). Said that the file is either in unknown format or is damaged. I tried opening it using the WinRAR program. I will try to reinstall the game (in case it was damaged somehow) and try it again.N!ghtY said:

i know 1934 works but any earlier date i never tried...

All the files are plain text, not encoded or compressed in any way. Notepad will do fine.
