The patch won't work for me

I downloaded everything just fine, including the patch. But the tribute is still on one gold minimum and the battles last shorter than 5 days. The rest I don't know anything about.

So I'm wondering if there is somewhere I can see if I actually run the patch?

Other than that the game works just fine, so thanks for a splendid game

Try reinstalling the patch. Open the file you downloaded without the game launcher opened, it should reinstall 1.1 even if you already did.

You should see the patch level 1.1 shown somewhere during the loadup process, not sure exactly where offhand.

Thanks for the replies. Still can’t see what version I’m running but I assume it’s with the patch. After all I do get the triumph and that's not in the pre patch if I understand it correctly. Seems like I don’t get everything to work though, but at least I’m enjoying the game.

I have similar issues with the Tributes as part of peace deals, and the battles as well. Apparently, the 5 days without being able to retreat change only applies to the player's armies, and not the AI's.

Why can't you see it? It should be right there where Darkrenown said. And did you actually execute the patch after downloading it?

Yes I executed it after downloading, I'm not that far off

Can't see nothing in the left corner, or any corner for that matter. I just have the menu in the middle.

Edit: After trying out every resolution I found one that showed the version finally o . I am running the patch, it just doesn’t seem to work right for me. I just have to reinstall everything in the future I guess, but now I’m enjoying the game enough, I’ll just not ask tribute from small provinces.
