Naturally, safe to assume that since marty and panzer are baddies, we have a rather safe team.

I accept.

Also, as Professor of Inclusionary Knowledge,

I can verify that marty99 is a Traditionalist, being one of the two names I recieved at the beginning.

Well, we know if nothing else that the next two leaders (including the current one) aren't both Spies, or else we'd probably go to automatic game over, right?

So I presume at least one has to be Resistance?

...I dunno what to make of you, NotLeksu.

You're clearly lying about your role, but then again I've done exactly that before as Resistance. In fact last game I outed myself as both the equivalent of Reader in Obscure Illuminations and then the Professor of Remote Audition, when I was neither, and went to come from 2-0 behind to get 3 successful missions in a row, in one of the greatest comebacks in the history of anything, although we technically lost because of that stupid rule.
It's possible you're playing a similar type of grand-strategic maneouvre here, although I didn't have you down as the type. Then again, I don't know you that well.

The team doesn't have Panzer in it, it doesn't have tonka or aedan in it...two out of three spies aren't on the team. The only question is whether or not I trust NotLeksu...

Fuck it..

APPROVE

May as well find out sooner rather than later anyway, seeing as I've already outed the Merlin the game is over as a contest, technically.

Alright, my team:

1)Alxeu
2)madchemist(staffed)
3)Cliges
4)tamius23

I swear this team looks familiar.

Ok,

Cliges

Madchemist

tamius23

alxeu

staff to alxeu

Approve

Right. We already rejected this. Granted that was before alxeu claimed Professor of Inclusionary Knowledge. If we accept that, then this team is almost certainly good. If not, then the answer's obvious.

I don't see alxeu lying about this though. I figure our spies are Marty, Panzer, and Tonka.

i'll approve

I think the spies are marty, panzer, and Aedan but honestly I have no idea on the third guy and am willing to take this shot.

I thought I already said why I changed my mind? To reliterate I believe I said that I thought if you were truly resistance you would be more paranoid whereas you seem almost mellow in this game which I find weird and the people I think are spies are saying you are a spy which in my mind they would do if you were their spymate but honestly I figure it's you or Alphabet soup

More paranoid? This is the first team all game I've accepted. Panzer and Marty are obvious spies, so there's only one spy we need to watch for, so we keep him off the team, we win. And you're looking like the best suspect for that.

why?

your switch on the last proposal seems like an alibi attempt, you've switched suspects majorly, without real evidence, and earlier on the double sabotaged team was approved by you marty, and Panzer. While having all three spies on one team seems like a gamble, it means that we will try to decide who to bring on from the team, when there are actually no right answer, ignoring madchemist, who rightly rejected that team). So I'm thinking either marty's staff switched your vote from sabotage to support, and he and Panzer sabotaged, or he switched you from support to sabotage and one of them sabotaged, quite possibly panzer. With this plan there was a high chance you would get cleared and move on to another team and get the final sabotage.

Is everyone a spy here but me? Is the GM playing some sick, twisted joke on us?

I think the vastly simpler explanation is that you're the spy here.

As for the mission, I'm not sure what to think. The fact that there's so many approvals for it already, especially from people off the team, scares me quite a bit. But it's not far off from what I'd propose with the next mission anyway (I'd probably replace one of tamius or cliges with AsdfeZxcas), and though I have my doubts about it, I don't think I'm going to do much better myself. For this to work, the spy combinations must be marty + two of the original three or marty + aedan + one of the original three, but both of those are viable options. I'm going to go for this one.

I will add to this the fact that, were I a spy, I would reject this mission in order to propose a mission with all three spies, giving one of them the staff so that a glorious quadruple sabotage might result (more sabotages than spies would be nothing short of hilarious). Because I have not done so, I hope this will allay any fears about me being a spy.

You know, I wasn't thinking you were a spy, and as far as I know, I don't think anyone was, but this comment seems rather unnecessary, and somewhat gloating. I might rethink some things.

Dam I see what you mean and would think something similar if our roles were reversed. I doubt I can say anything to convince you otherwise, but with 9 players and 3 spies and since the next two missions need two spies to sabotage and we have marty and panzer ((assuming they are spies..)) so if this team has no spies on it we win this thing assuming everything I just said holds true.

OK, perhaps it was a silly statement, but a couple people have suggested me at some point as a possible spy. I figured this would prove to any doubters that I am not one. I wasn't gloating, and indeed I have no reason to brag at all unless we somehow pull off the win here.

I like the team madchemist said he ws going to propose, (mainly because I'm on it instead of some unknown), I'll still

Accept

This team seems pretty good.
