Okay, fine, if the village loses this because I didn't pay enough attention to the actual setup, so be it.

But please don't forget you guys accepted the failed missions and you were lapping up Panzer's lies, otherwise I never would have needed to show my ineptitude.

Go back and look at the game where two spies sabotaged on the first mission proposal. Most games, the first proposal gets rejected, so spies tend to propose slightly risky teams in the first proposal. For this reason, I generally approve first mission proposals in hopes of catching a spy off guard. It worked in the Marty game, but it did not get approved this game.

Would it? Well who you think is the spies then? MC? Panzer?

Of course it wouldn't. Proof: He did it and is still in the game. It would have been dangerous if it'd been approved, but it wasn't. The funny thing is I proposed a similar team but Xarkan denied it having any importance because it was rejected, and now he's claiming his rejected team means much.

Hmm.....

Approve

So there seems to be two blocks atm >

FALC-XARKAN-KAI

vs

MADCHEMIST-PANZER-AEDAN(?)

So, Falc fucked up by trying to lie and forgot about the Morgana thing, that makes him suspicious, however, I am not stupid enough to pull off a double sabotage on the first mission. I am a knight, and the reason I approved that team which caused an uproar against me was because I wanted to enforce my team and get approved, because we could have found at least one spy if we did that.

CHANGE VOTE TO REJECT

By the way, tamius, as far as I'm concerned, you should feel free to end it any time you feel. I know we're hoping someone will change their mind before you close the game, but well, we can't wait forever anyway.

Christ, you guys could cut out the (bad) acting already, you know? It's getting annoying. Plus, it's a bit meta, using things like that to get people to believe you.

Actually, I've been in the same situation before, which is why I spoke up. I mean, think about it. You're the GM, you have all the votes needed to wrap up this proposal. But there's a lot of discussion going on and maybe, just maybe, one side might still be able to convince someone to switch.

What do you do? How long do you wait? Not at all? As long as it takes, even if it's days? You have to do one or the other because there's no formal deadline, so you're left knowing full well that you're going to make a huge impact on the game, when the entire prupose of the GM here is to guide, not interfere.

So, yeah, from my position in the game, I would prefer it if we could continue to try and convince someone to change.

But if I take a step back and look at it as a sometimes-GM, I have to let go of that wish and simply accept that everyone cast their vote. Which is why I'm telling tamius that if he does end it now, I'm not going to complain about it.
