The worry of the NCs is certainly possible. If Audren and Panzer are spies, and thus Falc is too,, then we need to approve this team if we want to have a chance, regardless of who the fourth spy would be. This team has none of them, so it would pass regardless, needing two sabotages. However this is all predicated on the assumption that both Audren and Panzer are spies. Ironhead makes a lot of sense, but he'd say the same thing whether he's a spy or resistance, it's the only logical way he can go from his position. But where does this team stand if Panzer and Audren are not the spies? At least one of Audren or Daffius has to be a spy, and both are off this team. At least one, and most likely only one, of Ironhead and Falc is a spy, and both of them are off the team. So we know for a fact at least two spies are not on the team, regardless of trust. At least one of Panzer, Deathbywombat, and Jacksonian is a spy, or Ironhead is lying about Audren not sabotaging the team, but if Ironhead is lying, then we have three spies (Ironhead, Falc, and Audren) off the team, and it's safe. And the only way Jacksonian is a spy would be if Ironhead is also a spy, which is possible, but that's only a threat to this team if Daffius was the spy and Audren was resistance. For some reason that sounded more clearing in my head.

In terms of player behavior though, I'd say Falc has been acting more spy-like than Ironhead, so I think we can trust Jacksonian. That leaves Deathbywombat and Panzer, as well as the hidden fourth spy. In regards to the fourth, I think it is possible that Audren and Daffius are both spies, who hoped to make us choose between them and get a spy on the fifth team for sure. If that's the case, this team will work regardless of which of Deathbywombat and Panzer is the spy.

So this team will work if-

-Ironhead lied about Audren not sabotaging
-Panzer is the spy who sabotaged mission 3
-Audren and Daffius are both spies

This team will not work if-

-Ironhide is a spy, Daffius is a spy, and two of Deathbywombat, Jacksonian, Ironhide, and AvatarofKhaine are spies
-Falc is a spy, Daffius is a spy, Deathbywombat is a spy, and one of Ironhide and AvatarofKhaine is a spy

That sounds more plausible than I had been expecting it to sound. I don't particularly think Ironhead is a spy, but it's possible. Even if he is resistance this team could fail.

Although come to think of it, Panzer used Take Responsibility to take the NC, and claimed quite specifically to want to burn it, but he never has, and has made no attempt to force it yet. Not inspiring much confidence in him. Yes, I think approving this team is the right move, and if Panzer/Audren truly are resistance and think this team will lead to defeat, they can use their NCs now to prevent them from hanging over us.

Approve

Approve for the above reasons of Aedan and Ironhead.

Lets not forget you have 0 (zero) ability in reading me. Judging from the last big were you were the ONLY goodie to lynch me (the priest).
You are right in he has no reason to expose a fellow spy... so where does that lead you?
I am quite confused on how the previous WW game has any impact on this game

And after considering the info given above by ironhead and aeden, I have confidence to change my vote.

I APPROVE

The fact that both Audren & Panzer Commader are rejecting the current proposal is indicative of them being Spies and this team being clean (or containing only one Spy).

We need all six Resistance to approve this proposal; if any Resistance member rejects, the Spies will win.

Sorry again for the delay and lack of cleverness in the update.

Mission 4:

AvatarOfKhaine's proposal of AvatarOfKhaine, Jacksonian Missionary, aedan777, deathbywombat, and Ironhide G1 was APPROVED 8-2.

Approved: AvatarOfKhaine, Ironhead 5, Daffius, aedan777, Ironhide G1, Jacksonian Missionary, deathbywombat, Falc
Rejected: Audren, Panzer Commader

The mission
SUCCEEDED. It was SABOTAGED ONCE.

Current score is Resistance 2, Spies 2.

@Ironhead 5 , as the next leader, you receive the following cards to hand out as you see fit.

Keeping a close eye on you – One time use - The player to whom the Leader passes this card may use this card to learn whether a player SUPPORTED or SABOTAGED a Mission. The player holding it may ask, by PM to the GM during the team approval or mission phase, to use it on a player on the Mission team, and when the mission has concluded will learn whether the specified player supported or sabotaged. A player's mission order may not be checked by more than one player.

Establish Confidence – Use immediately – The Leader must choose one other player publicly. The GM will reveal the Leader's Role to that player in PM.

Strong Leader – One time use - The player to whom the Leader passes this card may use this card to become the Leader. Use of this card must be declared before Plot Cards are drawn by the GM. When a "Strong Leader" is played, another "Strong Leader" may not be played until a Vote has been taken.

After the Establish Confidence card is resolved and the other cards passed out, you may propose a team of five players for the final mission of the game.

Um, so that team went better than even I expected, I see no reason why Ironhead should change that team if it was only sabotaged once as there is no reason for any spy on that team to hold back as it would have won the game for the spies to sabotage twice.

So yeah, @Ironhead 5 , this team looks to be a goodun for the final team as it means either the spies are toying with us or idiots for this team again to fail for the final mission.

Whoever the last spy was that was terrible play. With a single spy on the mission why would he sabotage?

What I know.

1) I know that Audren and Falc is a spy
2) Therefore I know that one of Panzer or Ironhead is a spy
3) We have a single spy in the 5 man team

Since there are 2 NC cards in play, that means we must accept Ironheads proposal.
If we reject Ironheads proposal the spies could nuke Jacksons and my proposal and the 2 other proposals are from Audren and Falc, who I know to be spies.

So this is to Ironhead, whatever you propose I'll approve!

My speculation, I still believe Ironhide was the last spy. Not only because of the noob play on sabotaging, but because of giving the NC card to Falc.
So if you are planning to swap then swap yourself for Ironhide.

I'd obviously rather see myself there, but I cannot see that happening.

As a reminder to all players, below is a list of all the plot cards currently held by the various players; this would be public knowledge in any normal game, so I feel that everyone should be aware of the current situation here. My apologies if people have forgotten because I have not kept page 1 entirely up to date.

Audren: No Confidence, No Confidence
Daffius: In the Spotlight
Panzer Commader: No Confidence, Opinion Maker
Ironhead 5: Opinion Maker
Jacksonian Missionary: Strong Leader

To be passed out by Ironhead: Keeping a close eye on you, Establish Confidence, Strong Leader

How in the world does Audren have two No Confidences???

I agree with Daffius that the most likely fourth Spy is Ironhide G1, for the noobish sabotage on a 1-spy team requiring two sabotages. Would have been nice if Daffius had used his In The Spotlight card on him.

I believe that the second No Confidence that Audren evidently has, is a GM mistake. @madchemist, can you please review and confirm the number of No Confidences that Audren has?

Just in case, we still have a hope:

Strong Leader to Jacksonian Missionary

With his two Strong Leaders, Jacksonian Missionary should be able to overcome at least one of the No Confidences.

Establish Confidence to aedan777

I am highly confident that he is Resistance, and believe he doubts me most.

KACEOY to AvatarOfKhaine

It is a useless card.

I will propose a team after aedan777 receives the Establish Confidence result.

Tbh, I didn't realise I had that card.

In hindsight however I think it was better I didn't use. It could have potentially scared him from sabotaging. Which would have led to a guessing game of if there was a spy or not.

Jacksonian Missionary, I recommend you give conditional orders for both of your Strong Leaders. The conditional orders would say something to the effect of:

"If a No Confidence card is played, I wish to immediately play my Strong Leader card, before the next leader submits a proposal, unless I was next in the leader order anyway."

This will avert any ill-timed No Confidences, in which a Spy can quickly submit a proposal while you are away from your computer.

How in the world does Audren have two No Confidences???

Panzer gave me one after I revealed Daffius as a spy, and (the one that even I forgot about) Falc gave me one at the beginning of the second mission.

The GM does not make mistakes on matters such as this. Audren has two NC cards.

Establish Confidence to aedan777

Result has been sent.

This.

Ironhead is resistance. This makes things a lot simpler. Audren-Falc-Panzer-Ironhide seems the spy team. Just need to get around the NCs and we have this.
