I think that if there is a spy on this mission,He wouldn't dare to sabotage. If he sabotaged,we would have more information about who are the spies and who aren't.
Indeed, and since that'll always be true, clearly the spies will never sabotage. Oh wait no, that'd lose them the game. Spies can, have, and possibly will sabotage the first mission, because letting more team pass gives more information, so ending the game sooner is in their interest. Spies have lost multiple games because they tried to build trust and let teams go. Meanwhile there are numerous games where I sabotage the first mission and manage to go on to sabotage another mission or two. Assuming that spies will make life easy for you is a bad plan.

Of course you could very well be a spy giving awful reasoning to cover up the fact you want your spymate on the team to sabotage.

And you know that there are spies voting this... How exactly? Only way to know for sure is... Being one.
I didn't say that I was sure :D .I'm just telling that there are too many approve votes already. That's why I think there may be a spy on this mission.

Well,I don't know very well about this.I only have some werewolf experience. So sorry if I'm telling something wrong.
Anyways,I think that hiding in more player missions is something better for spies, isn't it?If they sabotaged this mission,we would have more information about them. But having info in a 4 player mission is harder.

I voted already. It may not be seen,so I'm voting it again.
APPROVE

Please bold and change the size of your vote next time so I can see it please, however I will count this.

We are waiting for @Panzer Commader 's vote

I'm sorry for the delay, my brother had a university presentation today so he's had the laptop these past few days. Now I have it again!

I didn't expect I'd be on the first team, and even then I didn't expect it'd be approved. If people aren't lying about their votes I'd say this is a very nice start

Approve

The team of Wombat, Aedan and Panzer was Rejected 5-4

Approved:
Hazbot - DeChat - Panzer - Barardes

Rejected: Wombat - Aedan - Jackson - Tamius - Falc

@De Chatillôn it is your turn to propose a team of 3

Very glad to see that Aedan and Wombat recognized this team wouldn't be good. It certainly says something when 3 people who aren't even on the team approve the very first mission. The person out of that group that is notable is Barardes. For now I won't approve a team with him on it. I'm still not totally in support to have both Aedan and Wombat on the same team, because if one of them is a spy then they can use the third as an easy scapegoat. I do not blame Panzer for approving the team, in his position it made sense, though I still have no read on him. Hazbot approving the team has me conflicted because he is unusually approval-happy in the last few games, but in his position approving the team made little-to no sense. De Chat is new to this game, so for now I'll give him the same treatment as Panzer.

Right now my ideal team would be Me/Wombat/Falc or Tamius. But I know that team won't come up this proposal.

Mmmmm that was unexpected, why deathbywombat rejected his own team?? He didnt trust panzer? I'll choose the team after hear his explanations.
I'd think it would be for the fairly obvious reasons that were the same reasons I rejected the team despite knowing two resistance members are on it. Three people not on the team were approving it, for flimsy to nonexistent reasons, which meant that a spy was either on the team or approving, and the latter would also imply the former.

Mmmm.. but we had our reasons.. the establish confidence card seems better than nothing.
And? That did nothing to clear Panzer (or myself for that matter). Why not try to replace an unknown with yourself? Perhaps for one or two people it could be explained, but three? Even with chain spy rules, three off-team members approving is highly suspicious.

Hmmm.

Voting by PM

Ok, I guess that's the reason so I don't need to wait until his explanation. My team is:

- De Chatillon
- DeathByWombat
- Aedan777

You need to vote "Approve" or "Reject" on your own team

Well, the spies could still be Falc, Tamius and Jacksonian, though it seems a bit far-fetched. With the team looking so likely to be approved I like to think a spy!Aedan would approve and go for the sabotage, which makes you more likely to be resistance, which would also mean that DBW is resistance and the team was actually clear. It's a nice thought, though I won't cling to it for now.

Jerman, could you organize the player list in leader order?

Not sure I see the point of including aedan. I don't think he's done anything to clear him. You had to pick someone, I suppose.

Voting through PM

Separately, this post of aedan's tweaked my spydar. Specifically this bit.

... you want your spymate on the team to sabotage.

Am I jumping at shadows, or is this a covert message to a spymate?

Well, by including him on your team, you'll know with 100% certainty that he's a spy if the mission is sabotaged - since either he or the person he cleared must have done it. While if you just include a random person, it could be either them or Jacksonian.

Why I rejected that first team in PM: It is dangerous to have 3 people (Hazbot, De Chat, Barkedes) not on the proposed team approve the first mission. Now, the team may actually have been clear because we have two new players and Hazbot has been playing rather aggressively with first mission voting lately, but I still find it probabilistically unlikely that that team was clear, as every Resistance member not on the team would have had to have approved it.

I gave Aedan and Panzer the cards because they are vets and know the ropes of the game. Looking back, giving Aedan the Establish Confidence may have been foolish, as he was/is likely to clear me either way, whereas a new player, as a spy, might have tried to lie. Oh well...

De Chat has struck me as likely Resistance - he's asking the right questions as a new player, always a good sign of determining Resistance. I do think picking Aedan makes perfect sense from De chat's point of view, as he did clear me, and putting him on a team tests whether his clearing of me can be trusted or not. Or, as Panzer put it:

Well, by including him on your team, you'll know with 100% certainty that he's a spy if the mission is sabotaged - since either he or the person he cleared must have done it. While if you just include a random person, it could be either them or Jacksonian.

Also, might I remind everyone: If I'm a spy, Aedan has to be a spy, but not the other way around. He cleared me, so I can only be a spy if he is lying. However, Aedan could be telling the truth about me even as a spy.

Speaking of Panzer, there is 0 reason for Panzer Commander to be approving the first team with 3 already apparent approves from non-voters. Since Panzer is apparently really good (80%+ win rate in this game is spectacular), I find his play there odd.

I think De chat's team choice is a smart one, and I will:
