I usually like approving mission 1 proposals early because there's not much info to go around and to just get the game started, but this one does lack some basic things I like(other than not having me on it, obviously). I think it's advantageous to have the next leader in line and/or card holders on in order get info on both those groups of players which is more useful than random info.

I'm not on it, so there's no one I can trust on it.

wait, we're following the exact order, we can't have the missions go in rando order?

Huh, not what I'm used to irl.

Unsuprising. Most first proposals are rejected. If anything, the amount of approvals is unusual, but I don't think that can be meaningfully analysed (at least at this juncture).

The ideal proposal would be me and jeray, of course. While I understand the desire to have a cardholder on the team, I'm not sure that is the best course in this situation. I'm unsure what would persuade me to accept the coming proposal, but I'll wait until I see it to judge it in full.

I think it's best not to have a card holder on the team. If asdfe is a spy, then card holders are disproportionately likely to be spies. That said, I think I will want asdfe to be on a team with me because maybe the card holders will be resistance members and, being that they have a card and are not spies, are more likely to vote a team with asdfe.

Propose team:

AsdfeZxcas, jeray2000

I'm not quite sure I follow you on your logic jeray (specifically the second part) but since I literally just said that this is an ideal proposal I'll

2 off-team members approving the last proposal is a bit worrying. I would also like to know why Falc rejected it. I know I just said it is a bit worrying but is it really so much so that you would pass up an opportunity to put yourself on a team?

He is saying that if the card holders are resistance, it makes you more likely to be resistance since if you were a spy you would likely give cards to other spies. I would say this is generally true but not necessarily so here, since the two cards you had to give away weren't all that useful. I would be more convinced if they were scanning cards, but still, it's better than nothing.

Regardless though, the bigger problem is, how does Jeray know that the card holders are resistance? If he does not, then "if A -> B" really doesn't make B any more likely when you have 0 guarantee of A being true. I mean I might as well say "If Asdf is a spy, then he is quite likely to be a spy".

The logic's not super sound but there's not much else to do except wait to proposal five.

Look, my strategy has been serving me well so far. First round I don't accept until 4th proposal, at least. And being proposed myself doesn't change that, I've been used as a patsy often enough.

And before we get the usual discussion of "Yeah but what if everybody does that?", well, not everybody is doing it and that's working out fine.

I... didn't actually remember you had that. Fair enough.

Yeah, there's been quite a bit of discussion about it before. I generally do the same, but I was on both teams so far so I approved.
