Jeray was essentially dead. THe chances tam lied were really low. Hence there in reality only was one other, and deciding who of Panzer and hazbot that was wouldn't be necessary if we took a chance on tam.
Probably, though at the time I'm not sure there was public consensus on that, so Matthew might have thought the decision wouldn't be so clear.

And this is secondary to the main point. Whatever risk Matthew invited by sabotaging while he might have thought he'd be caught, not sabotaging would have left his position even worse.

@MatthewFW190 and @Hazbot, aedan is starting to convince me, opinions?

aedan is obviously correct that the passing of the previous team does not constitute any kind of evidence to support my resistance membership, but it's also just about the only thing he's said against me whose value as evidence to my allegiance isn't entirely imaginary.

aedan has criticised me for refusing to defend myself, a fine point in and of itself, only aedan has failed to give me anything to defend myself against. The entirety of aedan's attempt to paint me as the spy is based on conjecture and nothing more. aedan invents an entirely hypothetical description of events, complete with detailed descriptions of what's going on inside my and my supposed spymates heads and presents it on a silver platter like it has any sort of significance, but it doesn't, it's something anyone can do with minimal effort to anyone else who isn't explicitly cleared.

I'm not interested in arguing against a load of hypothetical nonsense. I will however, return the favour, and provide my own opinion on what might be going on inside aedan's head. aedan has no evidence against me, and instead blows a lot of hot air hoping that I will engage him in debate. Because I am debating against imaginary spectres and not real evidence, there isn't a real way to disprove his wild accusations, and none of the arguing would ever get anywhere. By that point, aedan would have shifted his argument against me to 'he has failed to disprove my statements, therefore he is a spy' conveniently utilising the fact that everyone would have forgotten that his arguments were utter arse from the beginning. I, however, was and continue not to be interested in futile endeavours.

Anything aedan or the rest of his spy buddies do now is entirely for the purpose of sowing enough confusion amongst the resistance to have us pick one of them for the final mission.

I have made up my mind and voted by PM
You should at the very least give arguments to the other cleared goodies.

And I don't really see any reason why voting by PM is needed here. It's the last mission no matter what, so any block voting won't really matter. And there's not really anything to hide for the villagers.

aaaugh this forum won't send me email notifications so I keep forgetting about it

Yeah, Tamius is resistance. Good for you :p

I suppose I'll go ahead and APPROVE
one resistance member has to be let out, guess it's me. Either way, even with my passionate speech I don't think I could affect the outcome of the vote.

Tamius's team of:

Wagonlitz, Jacksonian MIssionary, Panzer Commader, Tamius, Hazbot

Was approved 8-1:
In Favor:
Tamius
Jacksonian Missionary
Panzer Commader
JermanTK
jeray2000
Wagonlitz
Hazbot
MatthewFW190

Opposed:
aedan777

Wagonlitz, Jacksonian Missionary, Panzer Commader, Tamius, and Hazbot head to the capital, ready for the final mission. There, they successfully lead rioting crowds to storm the capital, and overthrow the corrupt government. Afterwards, they aid other local revolutionaries, and, eventually, aid in the creation of a new, democratic government, made to represent the people, and to make amends for the past.

The mission succeeded.

Resistance Wins!

Okay, I'll be honest, I was never really convinced by Aedan's reasoning. Being on both sabotaged teams was just too damning. But what I was worried about was that if we were making a mistake, that whoever the missed villager was would think it was just over and they had no hope and should give up. So I tried to make it appear like I was willing to listen and could go either way. Since I doubted anyone else would be convinced, I didn't see much harm in it.

Either way. We won. Yay! Didn't have as much fun as I remember having before though for some reason. Maybe the slow pace. But another win is always nice.

man, I voted poorly XD
