From my perspective, this is basically the same as the last mission.

Mission 2, Proposal 2:

Poster-024.png

Leader: Alxeu
Team: Alxeu, Alynkio, Brovahkiin
Arashi: Brovahkiin
Yay: Alxeu, Brovahkiin, tamius23, Alynkio
Nay: aedan777, Arkasas, Jacksonian Missionary
Status: Approved. Sabotaged Once. Failed.

Next Up:

Firstly, @Jacksonian Missionary must use the battle scanner to scan one person. He will be told whether that person is a resistance member or a spy, and that person will then obtain the battle scanner for their own use after Mission 3 has been resolved.

Mission 3, Proposal 1:

Team Leader: @brovahkiin
Mission Objective: Neutralize enemy VIP
Required personnel: 3 soldiers, also please hand out an Arashi

alright then, lets see
lets go with
me, Tamius aaand hmmm let say Arkasas,
I'll give the arashi to tamius

going to explain thought process
either alyinko or alexu is a spy so I won't take them
that leaves ark tamius aedan or jacksonian
frankly the way that aedan and jacksonian have been echoing each other and being extremely unhelpful makes me not trust them
that leaves tamius and ark
I trust tamius more though I don't really have a great reason why
therefore I'm taking tamius and ark and giving tamius the sword

frankly the way that aedan and jacksonian have been echoing each other and being extremely unhelpful makes me not trust them
"unhelpful" apparently meaning not accepting the first team proposed for no good reason and then not being fine left off a team when the only way that ended well was if every other resistance member was on the team, not a likely possibility. I've explained, repeatedly, why my actions were logical and why is was detrimental to accept the teams proposed. You and Tamius in particular have been very vocal about attacking me for not blindly accepting teams proposed, which is unhelpful to the resistance.

Now how about we actually start using logic to play this game rather than whims and feelings. Now since Brovahkiin has not said he used the arashi on mission 2, it can be assumed that he did not, and so the sabotage came as a result of a spy being on the team. Now it is possible that one of Alynkio or Brovahkiin was a spy and let mission 1 pass to gain trust. I wouldn't have done so in their shoes, but they aren't me. Still though, the simplest explanation is that the added person to mission 2 is the spy, which points to alxeu. He's the most likely spy from the team, and thus I am exceptionally wary of adding him to any team proposals from now on. Brovahkiin leaves alxeu off, which is good.

But then Brovahkiin makes the bafflingly idiotic decision to include Tamius, furthering my point that brovahkiin's playing off his feelings, not what logically makes sense. Tamius was the sole person to approve mission 2 not on the team. As we know mission 2 had a spy, this makes Tamius incredibly suspicious. As was repeatedly pointed out, the only way a person off the mission 2 proposal could safely approve the team was if they were confident that the three people on the proposal were every resistance member besides the one off the mission. And it's not like Tamius was blindly approving teams either, he explicitly rejected the first team of mission 2, which had arkasas on it instead of alxeu. Tamius' reasoning for this change in approval is asinine, why does alxeu randomly approving the first proposal on team 1 and Arkasas not make alxeu a far better choice to send on mission 2?

So between the Tamius-Alxeu connection and Tamius' attempt to discredit logic by attacking me, I'm leaning strongly on the two of them being spies. As a logical continuation of this, Alynkio and Brovahkiin look better for Tamius' opposition to the first proposal of mission 2, as does Arkasas. This leaves Jacksonian as the likely final spy to go with Tamius-Alxeu. As this team includes Tamius, obviously it should be rejected.

You seem to think because you are being "logical" that makes you helpful. Your point about how you trust no one is logical, and not remotely helpful. Helpful would be contributing, explaining your thought process, and in general just doing things. Tamius has actually talked and done more then go "everyone but me is bad" therefore I am inclined to trust tamius somewhat. You say im being too "emotional " i say this is a game about reading people and i play by my reads. We're still 1 to 1 and next missions the 2 sabotage. Either this mission goes of and we're up to 2 or its sabotaged and we've got enough spies fingered to be safe for the 2 man and with the scans we should be in a good spot for the last mission.

I can't help you if you can't read my posts, I've explained my thought process time and again. That you don't like the logical reading of events doesn't mean I'm being unhelpful.

Resistance is a game of deception, and statistically half of the players who aren't you can't be trusted. Up until this turn statistics are all I've used for my decisions, because that's the only useable evidence, rather than the mushy feels you're running on. I've never said that everyone but me is bad, but that'd require you to use actual brainpower while reading my posts, rather than just holding hands and singing kumbaya with players who throw around trust easily. That's how the spies win, giving out unearned trust and gaining it in turn. It's utterly baffling to me that you and Tamius are slandering me for not blindly trusting other players. That isn't how this game should be played, and it's not how you win it.

You say im being too "emotional " i say this is a game about reading people and i play by my reads.
Yeah, and when your reads are telling you the guy who randomly switched his vote from reject to approve because alxeu got added to the team over Arkasas is good, and your other reads are telling you alxeu is likely bad and arkasas is likely good, then maybe you should apply some logic to connect those dots and see the inconsistency.

I will buy what aedan is selling today.
