[The Resistance] - Game XI

I figured that if tamius wanted me to use the KACEOY on him I'd rather keep an eye on his friend. A good thing as Aedan SABOTAGED the mission. So where does this leave us?

Aedan is a spy but he can't have sabotaged the prior mission. Either Cliges, Tamius or Randy has to be his accomplice. Tamius would be the obvious suspect but could be aedan's scapegoat. Cliges voting in favor of this team doesn't really make sense since from his claimed point of view as a resistance member it had to contain at least 1 spy. That leaves randakar who seems to be the most cleared of the lot - but that isn't saying much.

I am going to risk something here and see what happens when I'll

use Establish Confidence with randakar

and

give Overheard Conversation to tonka. I'd prefer it you'd check out Cliges but be my guest to look at aedan if you want to do that instead.

I'll propose a team once I have heard back from them.

To tonka of all people. Why? *sigh* If you wanted Cliges checked you could've waited for Randy's role and give OC to him.

And TNT is lying. I didn't sabotage.
 
Well at this point I think our spies are TNT, Randy, and Tonka.

I wanted/needed someone who is not randy to check on Cliges. I don't get see randy's alignment, he gets to see mine.

First things first:

But why on god's green earth are you giving that OC card to Tonka? If anyone is suspicious this game, it's him, for crying out loud. Doing something just because "you always do that when you're resistance" is a classic wolf move. I thought that much at least was clear.
I really don't know why there are always people in these games that fail to notice the obvious :(

Chains of trust, people. Try to latch on to existing chains so you can verify it end-to-end. Don't just hand them out where ever you feel like.
Now in this case I admit that that is kinda hard, with one endpoint obviously untrustworthy, but you really could have chosen a better target. Someone who could verify me would have been much better, in fact. We need a chain, not some random people knowing little bits about other people.

Anyway. Aedan a spy. Myeah, that explains some of the sabotages, but not everything. Cliges does make a good candidate for the third spy, his vote for the last mission was decidedly odd. I'm not going to rule out other options though.
What worries me is the fifth mission. We have to get that one 100% right or we lose. This mission *should* be relatively easy since it takes two sabotages, but after that ..

Cliges

Yes, that's mostly the mission 2 team but I am willing to bet my life on the fact that only one of the three is guilty (everything else simply doesn't make sense) which is all that matters and which means that is the safest that I can make it. It literally does not matter who is guilty and that means we'll get to mission 5 and another set of plot cards.

Therefore, accept.

All real resistance should reject this. I did not sabotage the last mission. I am not a spy. Randy sabotaged and TNT is lying. If you accept this team we will lose.

Hardly any reason here to explain why. The Cliges, tmaius23, and randakar team failed, so this one would, too. Goodness, man, why did you even propose it!

Exactly. There will be one sabotage but I've done my very best to make sure it can't have two.

Since you have played long enough, you should know about the particular nature of the 4th missions by now. ;)

But we're all but guaranteed to have 1, and that makes it quite dangerous to help along a potential 2nd sabotage by putting one for sure.

I know I am resistance so I know that this will work 100% of the time (OK, perhaps there is only 99% certainty if glio's paranioa is justified but I don't think it is) and that this team at least can get us to the final mission.

I had hoped that either randy would falsely claim that I am a spy or that tonka would report that you are one but with these 2 results (and knowing that aeden is a spy) this is the best I can do to minimize the risks.
 
First, sorry for my mistake, TNT, I did indeed mix up how Open Up works. Though I'm still not amused by your choices, but it doesn't help us any discussing if's.
Second, it is far from 100% even from your POV, since there could be a spy-team of Aedan-Tamius-Randy. And from my hole the only team that seems to be safe is Cliges-Tamius-TNT-Glio.
But having said all that, I'll still

approve,

for if we fail, that would mean that the ones more deserving of this win are Spies.

I think I would actually rather have Glio on this team than Cliges, right now.
But honestly, given that I know that at least two people on this team are resistance, I think we should be ok. Tamius is playing a lot different from his spy self, with those pyramids of fun of his, and with the requirement to get two sabotages .. yeah, this mission we should still be fine.
